Do you ever feel ashamed????

Post by SuzyB »

I feel so angry with myself, today I have been so full of self pity due to pain and frustration, yet I have spent time with a young girl of 21 who's life will never be the same due to losing her daughter.

I feel throughly ashamed of myself, I shoud be counting my blessing's instead of being so negative.
I am nobody..nobody is perfect...therefore I must be Perfect!

Sometimes it takes an other's tragedy to help us put things into perspective.

Why is it necessary to be ashamed? You've been dealing with so much stuff of your own. You don't need shame on top of it. If anything you deserve credit for keeping going as you have. :-6

Yes, I have those days, Suzy!!

I know exactly how you feel!

I've been having major pity parties lately and in the town I live within the last two weeks there have been 2 BRUTAL murders to a 13 year old girl by her father (he shot her in the head) and a 22 year old chopped up by an hatchet by her 16 year old brother after he raped her and hurt a 2 year old in the house.....

It makes you think....

Sending hugs and love to you and your sweet friend!!:-4:-4

I feel ashamed quite often Suzy. Shame is a private and good emmotion. The fact that you recognize it, is what makes you a good person. These little messages are sent our way to remind us ( the way it happened to you) how fortunate we are. The scale of human suffering seems to have a top number that stretches into infinity. For every pain we suffer, someone elses suffering is greater. Fear is acceptable also. You have had every justification to feel fearful. Even though me Dr. Weeder knows you are going to be fine. I grew a fibroid tumor the size of a 2 liter bottle of soda, 12 years ago, in my uterus. They are fed on estrogen. The uterus had to go........ but Im still here. Feeling ashamed, pretty often. That I am not kind enough, forgiving enough, good enough, smart enough. The shame keeps me on my toes.

We all have days like that, the important thing to remember is not to give it a life.

Although we may not experience the loss of a child,it is human to feel down with every day ailments.
