Hey, I'm not gonna slag off American Football, but I will say that real football is just football, not hyphenated American- or Aussie Rules- or even Gaelic-, and thats an Irishman saying that! But its all about what people enjoy, if you guys love your football thats cool, and we love our games, its all good. I see the LA Galaxy have been knocking a few in since Becks started playing on the wing!

No one is slagging just having a little fun. You're right, enjoy whatever sport you like.

Excuse me but which code came first? (clue, the Football Association codified the rules of Football in 1863)

American football was started in 1879 with rules instituted by Walter Camp.
