Cookbooks Recipes

I don't know how many FG folks use the computer or internet to find interesting recipes, but just typing in MEAT LOAF RECIPES or CHICKEN RECIPES TO A Google Search will bring up dozens of interesting recipes. It sure beats the old cook books and little binders that have been used in the past.

You are right, Lon. But, the past is not that far gone, I print out my favorites and, you guessed it, have them in a little binder. :wah:

I like looking up recipes online for ideas but I have to do my own thing, if I follow a recipe exactly it never turns out right. :o :wah:

I use the internet to look up some recipes, espicially if i am looking for something specific. but I still love my cookbooks, even though they do just collect dust the majority of the time. :D

I agree as well--------I will get the basic idea and then enjoy adding my own touches.

I've used the internet a couple of times and found recipes for sticky toffee pudding (yummy) and beer batter - both were successful.

One of the books I use most is the school exercise book that I had when I was 12 and wrote several recipes that I still use!

I prefer epicurious.com for recipes... I like the rating feature with suggestions from members who've previously attempted the recipes. I also have my cookbook and baking book collection to reference, too... and I've almost got my own recipe book of my own recipes... I have a tendency to make recipes up as I go with whatever I've got on hand or strikes my fancy at the moment... :D
