'this is england'

Post by henrychalder »

This is a title of a film that had good revues about a group of skinheads living in a Northern town in England.

It was written and directed by Shane Meadows and is based on his experience as a skinhead in 1983.

So why did I put this thread under 'people'?

Its just I've noticed since this film came out I've seen a sight I haven't seen for a while..skinheads walking around my town.

This is an example of although showing skinheads in a bad light with regards to racism it in fact inadvertently glorifies them. The same go's rap artists who try to give their awful music some creedance by rapping on about how bad gangs are and not to take drugs etc etc. it just promotes the opposite.

The same go's for ASBO's that are seen as a badge of courage.

I didn't see all the film as I turned the dvd off as I thought it was a depressing film and a complete load of bollocks. It wasn't directed well, the lighting was awful, the acting was rubbish.

For a start, I'd never heard of a skinhead named 'Shane' as the Shane's, Dean's and Waynes of England were popular amongst stupid working class mothers from lowly council estates mainly in Basildon and Dagenham when skinheads were long gone.

In the film it showed a boy buying his first Ben Sherman in 1983, well let me tell you... Ben Shermans may be popular now and popular in the late 60s and early 70s but they were very difficult to get hold of in the 80s. In the early 80s a friend of mine who wanted to look like a MOD looked everywhere to get hold a Ben Sherman, so I went into my loft and got my old one out from 1968, the collar was scuffed and worn but my friend went to the trouble of getting a taylor to lop some of the material off the tails so as to mend the collar because Ben Shermans could not BE BOUGHT FROM A SHOP IN 1983 IN ENGLAND!.

Shane Meadows wrote a complete load of nonsense and his film was rubbish to feed the left wing socialists idiots who live on pink fluffy clouds.

Where did this jackanory teller get his material? His chronology is wrong!

Now it seems this idiot has started the skinhead revival again :-5

I had my anus checked a few weeks ago. I had a camera put down the eye of my penis and my prostate checked, I was a bit bemused walking out of the hospital with a greased squidgy bum and a numb dick, I felt I'd been severely violated.

Hmmm, wasn't Diana called 'squidgy'?

I wonder what that Hewitt got up too?

Ok, so Henry, fill me in here please. I have a cousin who is a "skinhead" AKA Aryan Brother. I know that's bad and need no clarification on it. But I had learned that skinheads- the real ones coming out of England were upholding the traditions and ideals of the original true British skinheads. That they were a good band and respectable. You are saying this is wrong?

I would say your wrong, they were just a pathetic group of kids who just wanted to look 'well ard' as a lot of kids do. Some people just have a need belong to something, I've never felt this need, only to my family although I dont think they share the same virtue.

The skinheads are just as bad as 'freemasons' and those annoying collection of golfers you get at work.

The Paki bashing that skinheads used to get up to is over emphasised as we like to look back on the negative side of our history and we do like to stab ourselves in the backs to give the appearance of being fair to minorities and in so doing giving them reasons to hate the typical image of an Englishman. After all, everyone has to be a victim of one thing or another these days instead of taking things on the chin, its the reason why this nonsense

film was given so much creedence it didn't deserve.

The Aryan Brothers are a completely different group altogether, it was a group formed more out of Necessity partly for some of the reasons I've already given, the followers were mainly idealistic which made them a more serious threat. The true Aryan Brothers saw themselves as warriors in a struggle for survival but like a lot of such groups became tainted by selling their souls to the devil by veering off their idealistic values. The IRA and the UDR went the same way.

Hmm. The Aryan Brotherhood might warrant a whole new thread of its own there.

What's wrong with freemasons?

Freemasons are a nuisance in a country that claims to be democratic, now they are mainly made up of aging people but unfortunately they still have some influence in the Police Service, Councils and Judicitiory.

The Council parish next to mine, there is an investigation into the sale of a public car park to a property developer where freemasons are said to be involved and that the councilor who suggested the sale was in fact a freemason as was the property developer and that the councilor did not divulge himself as a freemason.

More sinister is the death of Ambrosia banker, Roberto Calvi in 1982 under Londons Blackfriars Bridge who was found hanging, its said that Freemasons put out a contract on him for a deal that had gone wrong and the contract had gone to the Italian Mafia although the suspects of murdering Calvi have only recently been found innocent in an Italian court, but the outcome was never in doubt as it would have been impossible to prove amongst a country that is run on corruption.

I was once threatened by a freemason on a forum site for my comments, he sent a picture of himself to me all dressed up in all his regalia, he looked like something out of a Dennis Wheatley novel, he was surrounded by a bunch of old farts also in their regalia but unfortunately for him there was a small banner of his parish in the background that I had blown up, so I put it all over the internet until he asked me to stop.

I was sacked by a Freemason, I used to sneak into his office and study his diary, I used to regularly take the **** out of him being a member. I was eventually set up and sacked but not only that I was put on a black list and found it difficult to get a full time job.

My father used to be invited to Freemason's meetings and he told me he'd never seen such a mix of villains and old bill in the same room.
