Hello, I am from England and just signed up. If I am honest I signed up not realising that this is a USA site, however what the heck. I know there is a section where I could have introduced myself but know one really reads those do they ?

This may be a challenge as whilst we have a lot in common, there also quite a lot of differences in our culture. I warn you that I am quite right wing although I am not a faciest or a racist. I see things as quite black and white and call a spade a spade (a British saying).

Here we go then !!

PS, my spelling is terrible and my PC won't let me download the spell checker.

Hi there Simon, there are lots of Brits on here,me being one of them.It does not matter where folk are from, in fact it makes a forum more diverse, and more understanding of different cultures. My spelling can be rubbish as well, take no notice.Enjoy FG,I love this forum

I dont think our cultures are so different...... quite similar actually.

We have US UK meetups on this forum.

Talk a lot ( well we used to ) about English and American history.

There have been many lenghty threads devoted to the bonds between the Americans and the British.

Being here is quite a learning experience.

Because of Forum Garden I visited your lovely fairy tale country, last spring.

You can be quite happy here mate. Seeeee? I know some English Talk:wah::wah:

Fairy tale country!!!! Yeah. Grim, that sounds about right...

Hiya Simon, and welcome.

You will probably find that there are more "Brits" on here than you see at first sight.

A tip on the "Spellchecker" problem.... Try doing your post in "Word," using the spellchecker in that. Then copy and paste into the forum.
