Hi Belladonna,

Are you a Stevie Nicks fan, by the way?

You have to become a paying member to use your own avatars. :(

Hi RedGlitter,

I guess choosing my user name does have a lot to do w/Stevie Nicks.

I love flowers (some) and had a few white belladonna lilies growing. My favorite of all roses is the white ones.....one day trying to figure out a user name, to go w/a white rose avatar, I put in my stevie nicks bella donna cd...looked at the cover, and my user name was born.

I am a fan of hers, yes! lol! Along w/way to many other musical artist/musicians.:guitarist

btw..I will look into being a paying member when I get more familar w/this forum

It's a matter of finding non-essentials that people can do without while still having all the practical functionality of a forum site, so that people can always use the place effectively whether they pay or not. Uploading a personalized avatar is one of the things we think trivial enough to charge for. If you have any alternative suggestions we'd be delighted to hear them.

So, any member who wish to upload her/his own avatar must pay for it? From FAQ which I read here, it says:

If the administrator has provided a set of avatars, and avatars are enabled, you may select an avatar that best describes your personality.

The administrator may also have enabled custom avatars, which allows you to upload an avatar image from your computer.

when you pay you get more than just an Avatar, you get about 4000 pm spaces which when you get to know people comes in very handy. :)

I agree with Mia. My cash stays in my wallet as well :yh_giggle. I will just use whatever avatar this site has provided members who don't pay. Actually, I joined some message boards and you can upload your own avatar, cos the site's administrator has enabled the code.:yh_bigsmi. Let's wait and see in the future, as I'm still new in this message board, but not new when it comes to websites :yh_bigsmi.
