Hiya allxxxxx

Well at last Im home an guess what............I cant get on MSN it keeps shutting down on me. But I aint giving up, Im gonna reboot in a minute. Gill I text you yesterday....did you know??Anyway at this moment of time Chris is having his op.Im takin him down to vvvvvpv to rest when he comes out tomorrow..........goodness they chuck you out quick these days dont they. I was worried about the stairs at his home so vvvvvvpv seemed the obvious answer. We went down there last night to sort out the grub etc. Oh I went to that pub again .....my goodness some great singers were in last night. I sung "Crazy" and it went down great. Some of you have it on my last CD:wah:I have worked the past 2 days also...wasnt great but at least I worked!!!!

Great to see you all here it really is and a big hug to everyone.......Kaz I hope your ok love and of course Gordon is also. Times like this we know will happen one day but we try to block it out in our minds. To lose someone close hurts like hell and a part of us cant accept their death and expect to see them again coming through the door or maybe just even sitting in their favourite chair.I believe they are with us in spirit and hurting also as they watch our tears. But we also have to remember that they are free now of pain and in a place that only knows love.Kaz we have spoken about this subject and as you know I have had certain experiences in my life that have left me with a valuable piece of information................Kaz shes there but just not in body. Love her the same and let her see you and Gordon get through these dark days and send her thoughts just like Im sure she will send you. The love you had for each other can never die.......the body may no longer be here but the spirit will be forever.Talk soon dear friendxxxx

Thank you Kay, and Joan:-4 and again thanks carol:-4 we went to visit her for the last time today at the chapel of rest and she looked lovely. We put a verse in with her and our son Danny put in his dog tags. we went then to see my dad in law, and he gave me a bracelet that he said Ria had wanted me to have. The funeral is tomorrow so i wont be on here.

I hope the op goes ok for Chris Carol. Gill i hope you are feeling a bit better now.

Take care everyone:yh_hugs Kaz.

Have you got a load of stuff, like e-mails etc. taking up space on the memory ? It won't help MSN if you've got a load of stuff taking up memory. Or perhaps you've downloaded something which is not compatible with MSN, something you've done recently. Think back to when you first had trouble with MSN, and try to remember something you did then. I take it you've scanned and defragged etc

Don't know about losing stored stuff if you delete MSN and re-download, probably. If you can, copy your contacts list to a disc, and anything else you can, that's connected to MSN you want to keep. However if you can't get into MSN you won't be able to do this ! Still you've probably got most of them on your e-mail addresses

I tried Yahoo the other day, didn't think much of it really. Thousands of people all chattering one-liners, boring. You certainly couldn't say anything you didn't want the world to know !!! pmsl

Poor Chris, what are you like Mrs. ?

If you're sure you haven't got excessive quantities of stored stuff you don't really need, try deleting MSN then re-installing it. But there is an alternative - you could upgrade your laptop with more memory - not terribly expensive and you could push it up to 1 Gb which is probably twice the memory you have at the moment. Have you got a 'Tech Guys' or PC World etc near you ? It's not a long process, they may even be able to do it while you wait !

Carol, MSN stores all your previous chats, to all the people you chat to. They go back weeks sometimes. You need to delete all these conversations, cos they may be taking up quite a bit of memory ! Sometimes a notice comes up saying you need to delete these past conversations, but maybe not always. It's a thought anyway. I did it to my MSN. There were pages of stuff !!!

Carol, if you have a lot of stored stuff that you don't really need, this takes up memory and that can affect the way MSN can operate, may even send it on the blink. Worth a try - deleting excess stuff. Oh well I tried. Take your laptop to a computer engineer.

All my mates are fallin like flies, can't understand why they can't get on MSN. Carol I just don't understand why you aint sorted all those e-mails out - you haven't got a bottomless pit to store stuff matey. You also need to delete the 'conversation history' of all your contacts on MSN, cos there are pages of it, they go back anything up to 4 months ! I'm sure you'll find MSN a bit better ! I do mine fairly regularly. If there is anything you want to keep you can always copy and paste into your documents.

Gawd I need a break here, it's doin my head in.

Night night everybody, as there's nobody to talk to ! Sleep well :( :-5

Helen, you may be having similar problems to Carol ! Have you checked your e-mail storage - could be you need to delete quite a lot, save to documents any you may want to keep. Also, and it's something which may have been missed, the 'conversation history' on MSN. MSN saves all the conversations you have had and can go back as far as 3 or 4 months ! This can take up quite a bit of memory and consequently affect the performance of MSN. The e-mail storage may affect performance generally, if you have got a lot. Anything else, particularly music (music takes quite a bit of memory), and any downloaded films etc. You'll probably need to find somebody who knows what they're doing in this regard, to make sure you don't delete the wrong things !

It must be very frustrating for you, now able to get onto the internet, then not being able to progress anywhere else !!

You don't seem to be having much luck at the moment Helen ! But I'm sure it will sort out soon. Be interesting to see what difference deleting your 'conversation histories' on each of your contacts makes.

The Photo on the Night Stand

After a long night of making love, he notices a photo of another

Man on her nightstand by the bed.

He begins to worry.. "Is this your husband?" he nervously asks.

"No, silly," she replies, snuggling up to him.

"Your boyfriend, then?" he continues.

"No, not at all," she says, nibbling away at his ear.

"Is it your dad or your brother?" he inquires, hoping to be

Reassured.

"No, no, no! You are so hot when you're jealous!" she answers.

"Well, who in the hell is he, then?" he demands.

"That's me before the surgery."......:yh_rotfl RIGHT IM OFF>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>XXX

morning everyone,

this might be the last you see of me for a few days, just been talking to a security guard in the car park where i take the dog and theres a major surf competition, starting today for a week and there will be at least a thousand cars a day there so i've got a feeling we just might be busy !!!

to be honest, we could do with the trade as it hasnt been the best of summers so far here.

hi joan,

yes, it is begining to wear a bit thin now, they get to sleep off their late nights but wallace has to go out for his bits and bobs first thing then i have stuff to do before work so i get no chance to catch up on my sleep :-5

it's only till the begining of september when the children go back to school so i hope i can hold on til then without having a hissy fit at them:wah:

Is anybody else gettin trouble with 'Internet Explorer' ??

Several times a day it keeps throwing a notice on my screen saying they've got a problem and will have to close. Please send a report etc. Then the bugger switches off anything I've got on Internet Explorer - Forum Garden Arcade etc, even Yahoo Messenger. However, this time it left the 'Friends of Carol' thread ! Seems to be slightly selective !! I find I can immediately get back into 'Internet Explorer' and consequently whatever I was on before it switched me off !! This is to say the least flaming irritating. Has anybody else experienced this - is it general from Internet Explorer, or is it just me ? Actually I was speaking to somebody in Australia a couple of weeks back and they seemed to have the same problem, so I think it must be world wide, and Windows Internet Explorer !!!

Stroller, thanks very much for your help, and info. I will try that. It is so irksome, to have this continual problem, particularly if I'm in the middle of a silly game on Arcade, and I've just overtaken my previous highest score and bearing down on the next person above me and I'm really on a roll, then bang ! The bugger switches me off grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. It's not so bad if I'm talking to somebody because, as I say, I can immediately switch back on - it's just irritating then !

Thanks once again Stroller, I'll have a go matey. xxx

Hi all xxxxxxxxxxxxx:-6

Thank you all for your kind messages, the funeral went off ok and turned into a great party afterwards which Ria would have loved. Of course as Carol has mentioned my dad took a bad turn and my brother had to take him off to the hospital where they said he had a slight stroke. they kept him in overnight but he is back home now with medication etc. so hopefully its not too bad.

Anyway hope you are all ok and having a nice sunny day. :yh_hugs Kaz.

as joan says, its a beautiful day here, just had a long walk with the dog, he can stay out while im at work but he sits half way down the fire escape, on the kitchen roof, head dangling over the edge, watching me in the tea room, doing the washing up and i dont like my heart being in my mouth, thinking he might just slip off.:-3

been very busy, got a job to keep up with the potatos and we are open all day from now until the middle of september and no extra staff !! got a feeling i might give up after this season, dont think i can handle it any more.

right, time for breckkie and a cuppa. see you later. xx
