Nose Hair Man.... The final Episode

Well, I got rid of nose hair man last night. He had to go. 2 calls yesterday. I answered the second one, because I couldnt see the numbers on the phone. He wanted to know WHERE I was working. Since hes 600 miles away, I dont know what difference that would make. But anyway, I was brief and aloof, and I said I would e mail him that evening. I wrote that I had been very clear about cautiously becoming friends. That his behavior made me uncomfortable, and feeling pressured. And so, I was not interested in having any relationship at all. I did say that it was nice to have met him, and that I wished him all the best. I had to be careful with this as there is the possibility that I will bump into him again. He wrote back that he was sorry that I felt that way... but that it was understandable. ( Ah Ha!! he must be aware of how he behaves ) He said that it had been a long time that he had been around A FEMALE. and he got carried away. Finally, that he would not contact me again. Of course, you know, I then had to feel bad. But now, this morning, I am relieved. I am kind of proud of myself. 10 years ago, I would have let him perhaps sweep me along into something I didnt want. I made a choice!! Well, this is good. It has only taken about 40 years worth of bad relationships. failed marriages. and wasted time with companions whose behavior I didnt like... for me to become assertive, and for me to know who I am, and what I do and do not want. I feel like I just returned a pair of pants back to the store, that didnt fit, and got the right size. The old me would have had thrown away the receipt and been stuck with something too tight. Today I am going to start painting with water colors... I am sewing,

and last night I made delicious zucchini squares. Got up at 4am to start reading a new book........ Its great to be free!!!!

No No ..... never said I was in Love. I just got really excited to have met someone down in Georgia last week, and to have gone out on a couple of dates. He WAS very nice.... and he appealed to me, which is very rare for me. No one ever appeals to me. It could have been a nice thing. I wanted to see where it would go. I fully intended on seeing more of him when I go back next month. But, from the time I left there.... he would not leave me alone.

It really made me feel sick. I cannott have anyone needy in my life. I want a relationship to be on even ground. ( If I ever have one) I dont know much, but I do know this... NO ONE will ever controll me.

Seems like it turned out alright. Good for you for being assertive. Some people might have let the pressure build & then screamed at the poor guy to leave them alone. Your way was much better.

Yes I feel good. But I know I still hurt him. However, on the first date, when I sensed how enthusiastic he was..... These were my exact words. " Yes, we seem to have a lot in common. But lets be very cauctious with this.. I dont want anyone to get hurt" That is the biggest problem with people being poor listeners.

Nose hair is a particular problem for the tall guy. I'm 6' 4" and aware that most people are looking up at me. As one ages, hair grows fast and furious in the ears, nose and eyebrows. I try to take care by regularly trimming the forest that grows in my nasal cavities.

Thank you for that, but I have just recently purchased a JACOBSON MOWER to do the job. It's a bit heavy getting it up to my nose though.

I feel great today.... vary mature and wise. I had a wonderful morning out with a friend. Drove her brand new toyota hybrid car. Shes recently met the man of her dreams and is on cloud nine. I was as happy as she is to have kept my feet planted squarely on the ground. She recently ( after 2 bad choices in men...) made a list .... an actual physical list of all the qualities she wanted in someone. He has them all!! I did check all of my own orifices for any stray hairs before we went out today.
