Is there such a person as a lunatic atheist? That cuts down the addressee list to minimal numbers. Those that have lawyers must be vanishingly fewer still.
He was a Roman Catholic missionary in Japan before World War 2 started and interned as a spy. He must have been in his nineties when he had that sign erected. He's mostly known and honoured as an expert on the Monongah Mining disaster.
