Kay, yes I'm on Skype. All you've gotta do is print the instructions off and, with them beside you, you can do the procedure step by step. Once you've done it once, you'll realise that it aint that difficult. But as we all know, when you read instructions in a big mass like that, they seem very daunting. Just follow them step by step. It's easy peasy matey !!!

I've also done my share of 'poppin up' but the trouble is, if I post anything I seem to land myself in hot water ! My latest efforts can be seen on Neffy's thread about 'why are people so nasty', where I inadvertently upset Neffy. I am bound to tell you all, here and now, that the only people that I would deliberately try to upset are some that are on that awful site we escaped from to come on here.
However, I believe my 'foot-in-mouth' nurdle seems to have been sorted.

Must tell you about a woman who also had to take a bottle with sample in it to the hospital for tests.
She arrived at the hospital at her appointment time, but she was in such a state, the nurses and doctors just couldn't understand why she was hysterically laughing, tears pouring down her face, clutching her sides. When she had eventually calmed down enough to talk, she began to explain:
"I was bringing my sample here, this morning, and I realised I was a bit early so I nipped into a shop to get a couple of items I needed. On my way out, this 'wino' bumped into me just outside the door, he was very apologetic and I thought no more about it, till I got to the hospital door here and I checked my sample bottle was OK , but it had disappeared ! It made me panic a bit at first, till I remembered the job I had at home to find a suitable bottle for my sample, but in the end I found this empty bottle and thoroughly washed it out and used that for my sample. Unfortunately I forgot to scrub off the whisky label, and that 'wino' who bumped into me....................." the poor woman collapsed into more hysterical laughter at the thought.
So Helen, avoid using a whisky bottle for your sample, or not, as the mood takes you !!! pmsl
oh boy are we in trouble here !! the main water mains into the town has burst and we have no water at all. we had the busiest dinner time in ages and only got one barrel of chips for tonite, friday, which is always busy as hell. the old folks home next door has just had a tank delivered so it looks like we maybe cut off for some time !!
it was supposed to be put back on at 10am then 12am and here it is, 3-45 and nothing. we've sold loads of bottled water this morning but we certainly havnt got any to peel the spuds with !! which means i will have to work twice as hard tomorrow cos all my stock for the weekend will have gone.

the spuds didnt arrive til 7pm, it was the busiest day of the summer so far and it was totally manic !! was kept up nearly all night by another bloody party and this time they woke my boss's daughter up, so at long last, i've got a wittness. it couldnt have happpened at a better time
been out with the dog, been shopping now just having a cuppa before starting again for the day.
its our fire station open day today, they've got some people there from the local animal rescue center, who are offering micro chipping, so poor old wallace is going to have a bit of a shock later !!:wah:

Phew!!! its took me ages to read all the posts i missed while i was away Yes!!! its meeeeee!!! I'm Back!!!!
Well we had a pretty good time despite spending our second week in worcester among the floods. Our accomodation wasnt affected but the access road in was,, the owners met us though and brought us in a different way. we did manage to get out and about, but sadly couldnt visit some of the places we would have liked to, but really that was a very tiny inconvenience for us compared to what some people who actually live in those areas have been going through,, and still are. we saw some sights, caravans floating along swollen rivers, abandoned cars, and the damage that had been done when some flooding subsided. Its such a beautiful part of the country too, such a shame. Anyway when i get my photo's sorted i will put some on here for you to see we visited lots of lovely places.
Glad you had a good time too Joan and finally have your gorgeous little Sophie with you.

Hi everyone.Yes gill I did read ur post,everyone reads things very differantly,and if people are feeling a bit delicate at the time I think they beleive its directed at them.I have felt that way myself a few times but u think about it a bit and realise it's not directed at u at all.Some people on the other thread can express themselves a lot better than I can and it can be intimadating.In the long run people are just expressing there point of view.Think we just need to take a step back and think before we speak sometimes. I didnt think u post was directed at anyone in particular.Some of the threads I have been into seem to have a bit of tension,I prefare to avoid confrontation,would much rather have a fun time.Things can get a bit to serious at times.Think we got a good group in here and I hope it stays that way.Weather is still rotten here cold wet and windy.Keep well girls and lets be happy happy happy.
Hi u lot:D well im trying to put some pics on hope they work. Thing is im crap at taking pics and hubby's not much better:wah: a lot of them seem a bit far away so if u click on them i think then you can zoom them to see better. Now see if i can remember which ones which lol. 1 - the harbour at Weymouth , 2 - our first cottage in Dorset, wrong side of course lol the other side had grape vines all along the roof edge, 3 - our second cottage in Worcester, again just a part of it, it was massive!! 3 bedrooms all en-suite all on one level, a beautiful cottage inside. 4 - me having a cuppa in the gorgeous garden at 2nd cottage, 5 - a lovely little pub we stopped at one day in Somerset, 6 - the fovant Badges, military badges carved in to the hills, cant remember exactly where. 7 - the harbour again, and 8 - another part of the beautiful garden.

Some more. these are pics we took at the safari park we went to in the west midlands, you drove round in your car and it was great!! there were all kinds there from wollves to white lions. there is one of a white walabi, looked like giant rats to me:wah: but if u zoom right in you can see the little joey peeping its head out!! the last pic on her is one of the terrible flooding in that second week. thats the car in front of us driving through a flooded area.

Thanks, Ali, for that ! But the whole episode has just convinced me that I should just keep away from these things. Although I did say, at the time, that I was only trying to help seems it just caused more hassle. It just isn't worth it when you get invaded with rather 'iffy' PMs, I read a couple of them, cleared me box and I got some more! As far as I'm concerned the matter is closed, I made my apologies, and that's it. If some of them want to leave FG because of it, well that's up to them. :-5

THE DONKEY
One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours as the farmer tried to figure out what to do. Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway; it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey.
He invited all his neighbours to come over and help him. They all grabbed a shovel and began to shovel dirt into the well. At first, the donkey realized what was happening and cried horribly. Then, to everyone's amazement he quieted down.
A few shovel loads later, the farmer finally looked down the well. He was astonished at what he saw. With each shovel of dirt that hit his back, the donkey was doing something amazing. He would shake it off and take a step up.
As the farmer's neighbours continued to shovel dirt on top of the animal, he would shake it off and take a step up. Pretty soon, everyone was amazed as the donkey stepped up over the edge of the well and happily trotted off!
Life is going to shovel dirt on you, all kinds of dirt. The trick to getting out of the well is to shake it off and take a step up. Each of
our troubles is a steppingstone. We can get out of the deepest wells just by not stopping, never giving up! Shake it off and take a step up.
Remember the five simple rules to be happy:
1. Free your heart from hatred - Forgive.
2. Free your mind from worries - Most never happen.
3. Live simply and appreciate what you have.
4. Give more.
5. Expect less

The donkey later came back, and beat the sh*t out of the farmer who had tried to bury him. The gash from the bite got infected, and the farmer eventually died in agony from septic shock.
MORAL FROM TODAY'S LESSON:
When you do something wrong, and try to cover your ass, it always comes back to bite you!

worked right through from 1pm till 10-30pm and it was no ones fault but mine cos i went for one of the noisy party goers and he walked out, which left us short staffed.
he's supposed to be working today and he's got more of the same coming cos he was taking the wee wee last nite and i aint standing for it no more !!!!!!
