hiya everyone, been back a couple of hours, left all me butter, scotch eggs, pork pies etc in me daughters fridge :-5 just un packed all me stuff and im just going to get a cuppa, needless to say, i didnt want to come back, we both stood in the car park and cried :-1

didnt get a very good reception here, no on covered my hours but linda and she looks worn out. cant win can ya ??

hi neff,

i work in a a fish and chip shop and cafe and live above where i work. it was a hotel and pub but they converted the pub bit to a chippy. cos i live here ( had no where else to go when my partner died 18mths ago ) they seem to think im on permanent stand by for what ever comes up, i've never been off sick or let them down in the 8yrs i've worked for them, i've just spent 10 days with my daughter and it may be my imagination but it feels like they've got a job to talk to me because i dared to take some " maternity " leave.

sorry, im feeling really depressed now, didnt expect that sort of reaction and i didnt realize how much i miss my kids and where i used to live and even me bingo on a thursday night and most of all, having a bit of human company.

Helen...we laugh we joke here but yes we all have our problems and I know you have yours love. Life hasn't been kind to you since Barry died and I know how down you have been and also the crap you have to put up with living in that place.Helen........these may only be words on a pc but they come from the heart and couldn't mean more if I told you in person.You have become very dear to us girls here and don't you dare forget it and we love you as good friends can only do. This machine as I know from past experiences is very powerful..........very and although at times you feel so down and the need for human contact, you must remember that we are your friends no matter what and we are only a call or text away. Maybe one day.....God willing we will meet but I tell you this......our feelings for you wouldn't be any stronger than they are ......you just remember that, ok.Now....come on babe give us a smile;) xxx

Hi to everybody ! Blimey Carol, and you found time to post on here before going to work ! Aah such devotion ! But what's all this about me knowing what it's like to be 'banged away' ? The nearest I've got to that was 'accidentally' being locked in the girls' toilets at school ! True ! I managed to 'escape' by climbing up the wall and into the next cubicle - you just can't keep a good girl down ! Ooh I was a bit of a terror at school though pmsl ! I think I broke the record for the number of times a girl was put on 'daily report' (deep down I think I was quite proud of that - a bit of a rebel then, and still am now !!). But on the other side of the coin I did represent the school and the county schools with my discus throwing ability, and was a team member in the first eleven girls hockey team ! Oh alright it was sport and not academic achievement, but so what - I was still proud of that !!

Oh dear, it's St. Swithin's day today - if it's dry and sunny today we should get another 40 days of it. Well I look out of my window and what do I see - the prospect of another 40 days of ................................................RAIN ! Oh deep joy !

Well at least Neffy will be happy, bless her !

good job i am back here now, he's upstairs,having a shower and the bloody water's pouring through me ceiling again, music up full blast, really dont think i can take much more of this, wont see another soul now tilll 12-00 tomorrow.

been having early nights at my daughters, had to grab the chance while we could, as baby didnt sleep too well the first few nites.

had an update earlier, shes now going 4/5 hours between feeds so things are calming down thank god. see you all tomorrow. xx

Sorry Im not about much this week but Im with Chris and he does like going out so Im not about much.....sorry:( but the good news is Im having a great time:yh_rotfl. We went to Maldon yesterday an then to Heybridge where we looked at the boats by the pub an my goodness it was lovely there. Its an old fishing village and its sooooo nice there.Hard to believe I live so near these places now coming from the heart of the East End. I remember when I was a little girl living in the slums of Stepney saying to myself.....One day Im gonna live in the country in a cottage with lots of flowers......well now I do and take it all for granted but days like yesterday made me realise how lucky I am. I have farmland behind me and a golf course to one side at the back and the other side woods. Yes that little girl made her dream come true and although its been a bumpy ride and even now problems are still here......I done it.Mind you gawd knows how I ended up with 9 bleedin dogs:yh_rotfl and for my dear friend Gill heres there names again!!!!

Hi everybody !

What a fascinating day! We're having a series of thunderstorms here in Nottinghamshire, at the moment. They've been forecast for most of the day so I'm nipping in and out of the internet in between. I hope you are all having a good day despite nature's angry mood !

I remember when we were on a camping holiday in North Norfolk, many years ago. My husband Chris and my son Andy, who was about 6 years old then, and our gorgeous mut 'Freddy' were camping on this large flat site at Wells-next-the-Sea. We'd picked a spot, for our 'three man' frame tent, which was slightly raised on a bit of a hump in the ground. A couple of nights into our holiday a tremendous storm developed and approached relentlessly towards the camp site. Andy had been asleep in the inner tent for a couple of hours when 'all hell' was let loose all around us. Fortunately, Chris had 'storm guyed' our frame tent that afternoon, so we were confident that it would withstand mostly anything that nature could throw at us. The lightning was most dramatic and very constant, and was coloured a strange pink ! We stood in the entrance to our tent and under the shelter of the integral canopy, to watch the firework display going on all around us - the most amazing sight ! We thought that okay, we could be struck by the lightning, but what alternative had we got ? The frame tent had an aluminium frame to the canvas so was fairly vulnerable to any rampant electricity that was going around, but as I say, what else could we do ? The thunder was incessant and terribly loud, we felt we were in the middle of a war zone ! I kept having a peep at my son, to reassure him if he woke with all the noise, but he was sound asleep ! Other people had come to their tent entrances to watch this amazing and very spectacular storm as it raged constantly, throwing down a deluge of rain and causing very quick puddling all around us. Because we had had the foresight to pitch on a slightly raised piece of ground, when the puddles formed quickly into streams, the water by-passed our tent. However, others were not so fortunate, and they were desparately rescuing clothes and sleeping bags and throwing them into their cars as the streams poured through their tents ! As the storm passed, having lasted about an hour, Andy decided to wake up ! He was a bit bemused by all the activities on the site, and more than a little amazed at the sudden development of a mini lake district, with our tent on an island ! The next morning, the site had half emptied of tents, but we stayed on for the duration of our holiday and enjoyed marvellous sunny weather ! The moral is, if you are camping under canvas, pitch your tent on a rise in the ground, cos you never know when you may be very glad you did !

1. The patient has no previous history of suicides.

2. Patient has left white blood cells at another hospital.

3. Patient's medical history has been remarkably insignificant with only a 40 pound weight gain in the past three days.

4. She has no rigors or shaking chills, but her husband states she was very hot in bed last night.

5. Patient has chest pain if she lies on her left side for over a year.

6. On the second day the knee was better and on the third day it disappeared.

7. The patient is tearful and crying constantly. She also appears to be depressed.

8. The patient has been depressed since she began seeing me in 1993.

9. Discharge status: Alive, but without my permission.
