Worst day of my life?

Was this the worst day of my life ever or what?

My parents, sister , brother and I were waiting to leave the house to attend my auntie`s (mum`s younger sister`s) funeral, when the phone rang.

Another auntie from Australia rang to say that my dad`s younger brother had just died.

Sheesh, how sad was that for my dad to have to be mourning his sister-in-law at her funeral and at the same time contemplating the death of his own brother?

My sincere condolences, John. Keep a stiff upper lip, as the English would say, life goes on and it changes all the time. The Sun will come out again.
