Obviously she has a cold or allergies- I called the vet last night to see what can be done.. they told me to give her pediatric benadryl & see if it helps. They said that there is nothing they can do right now until we see if Benadryl helps her.. Meanwhile I have Isabelle running around with a sore nose, a runny nose & she wheezes when she breathes. I feel horrible for her & theres nothing I can do other than give her benadryl.. Anyone ever had a cat that has done this stuff?
Oh yeah None of the other cats are doing any of this.
we've a ragdoll cat that's the same.

Cats can get colds, and they can also have allergies.

You have to watch those cat colds because they can be more than just a common cold. They can get those nasty upper respiratory infections and those are hard to clear up.
Does she stay in the house? Could she have come in contact with other cats?

My Sam used to get colds all the time. Just like having a child.
I replaced her water with clear Pedialyte. It has vitamins and electrolytes that help boost the immune system.
She never noticed a difference and after a few days she was fine.

I wouldn't wait a whole week before taking her in, Susie.
Just to be on the safe side.
I was thinking though....have you changed anything lately? Carpet deodorizer? Fabric softener? Anything she could be allergic to? Her litter?
