had my last legal ciggy in the pub last night, they've put up a small marquee outside with tables in it so we can go outside and smoke. its ok now but in the middle of winter !! DISCRIMINATION is what i bloody call it,wonder what the outcry would be if it was the non smokers that had to sit outside !!:mad:

When I am Old

When I am an old woman I shall wear purple

With a red hat that doesn't go, and doesn't suit me,

And I shall spend my pension

on brandy and summer gloves

And satin sandals,

and say we've no money for butter.

I shall sit down on the pavement when I am tired,

And gobble up samples in shops and press alarm bells,

And run my stick along the public railings,

And make up for the sobriety of my youth.

I shall go out in my slippers in the rain

And pick the flowers in other people's gardens,

And learn to spit.

You can wear terrible shirts and grow more fat,

And eat three pounds of sausages at a go,

Or only bread and pickle for a week,

And hoard pens and pencils and beer mats

and things in boxes.

But now we must have clothes that keep us dry,

And pay our rent and not swear in the street,

And set a good example for the children.

We will have friends to dinner and read the papers.

But maybe I ought to practice a little now?

So people who know me

are not too shocked and surprised,

When suddenly I am old

and start to wear purple!

morning guys.

well the rain's not here just yet but its not far away, managed to give the dog a good run so if i cant get him out again, he wont be too worried.

didnt get down town, boss's daughter came in with her cousins last night and didnt leave til gone 2am and im too tired to walk all the way down town:(

well, i might be away for a few days next week, had call from my daughter last night, shes only got a few days to go and wants me over there, just in case. this will be her 4th baby and theres no way any one will have time to pick me up or for me to get on a bus, so going to sort it out this morning, thats another reason i didnt go shopping, if im not going to be here then i aint gonna need it.

morning everyone,

i was just so last night, i sat with my feet in my foot spa with a cuppa and several ciggies then went to bed !! we were so busy.

thank heaven the dog remembered it was sunday and was content with a wee in the garden til i was awake enough to take him out.

gotta pack this morning, yes i know gill, i should have done it already

.not going til tuesday or wednesday cos ive got to get me prescription first, just hope she can keep her legs crossed til then !!! shes not actually due til the 9th but you never know so i dont know how long i will be gone. her hubby has got 2wks maternity leave and if i can get on her friends pc then i will give you all a shout.

Morningggggggggggggggg:-6 well thank god last night is over:wah: it went ok really and i was home for 11pm. Now got the meat in the oven for lunch (larry the lamb) and then later should be having company over for a few drinkies with my daughter as she is 21 tomorrow!!God both my kids are in their twenties now:-3

Where is Joan? did she say she wouldnt be around for a while?

Well i am bloody hot it is so mild here,i have hooverd the living room fed my babies,cleaned up the dog poo in the yard:yh_sick ,put the meat in the oven and then had a bath.

Its not to bad here in salisbury today its windy and sunny.You never believe it is the 1st of july,oh well just think only 6 mths to xmas :wah:
