"Why not just tell people I'm an alien from Mars. Tell them I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight. They'll believe anything you say, because you're a reporter. But if I, Michael Jackson, were to say, 'I'm an alien from Mars and I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight', people would say, 'Oh, man, that Michael Jackson is nuts. He's cracked up. You can't believe a damn word that comes out of his mouth.' " Michael Jackson

Frequently been on both sides of the equation - damn, I forgot my wallet, can you help us out.

Always repaid the next day anthough, come to think on it, Dave still owes me £18 for that curry two years ago!

When it's a friend, what's money? As long as it's not habitual and no-one's taking the michael then no harm done.

Once of my best friend to cover my @$$ so a certain someone wouldn't find out I screwed up the banking and once for something very small. Paid back PRONTO. I broke my own rule about never borrowing from a friend. I'd much rather be the lender. I never sleep well until she's paid back.

I asked a friend to pay for some past exam papers for me a while back, but only because they would not accept my debit card, but I sent her the money instantly via paypal anyway so not like I loaned it from her.
