Diabetes 'catastrophe' means twice as many will suffer from it by 2010

Post by CVX »

Britain is facing a huge increase in diabetes in what doctors are calling one of the greatest health catastrophes the developed world has seen.

In the UK, 1.8 million people live with the condition, which reduces life expectancy by 10 years, is the leading cause of blindness and increases by 15 times the risk of amputation of the legs, according to a report published yesterday.

The numbers affected have grown by 400,000 in the past eight years - a 28 per cent increase - and are set to almost double by 2010 to three million. The main drivers of the trend are obesity and inactivity.

Bio-engineered food! There is an epidemic of Diabetes, as i don't read health topics too much, my mother-in-law talks about it, she has been into health for 30+ years, she is obsessed and will work her jaw off talking about HEALTH. No chemicals in her diet, very clean living. Lives off the earth, no eating out ever, grows all foods, cans, makes 3 meals a day. All natural everything...this woman bakes with almost no sugar, delicious. Heavily into cells salts and takes at least 40 supplements daily, she is out of control, about this topic, she commented saturday about diabetes, and told myself and her son, we would not live to see 70. which is her age? thanks Bev.
Everyone has these on their face? TULIPS.
