Instructions.
How do i submit a photo within a post? When i use attachments the photo is too large? Your instructions please. :yh_glasse

Instructions.
There is a 5 MB size limit on attached files for posts. If you have a picture you'd like to attach but is currently too large you can try using a graphics editing program (Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, or even MSPaint) to either shrink the picture to a smaller size or save it as a different file format (JPEG or PNG are good formats to save in - they compress the data).

I use IrfanView to resize pictures. It's a free program and easy to use.

Hi agnes.......
When you say it is TOO large, is that a message you get?
As Hawke says 5mb limit........ Sheesh that is a huge pic.
In windows explorer, try to right mouse on the file and select properties.
That should give you how many mb or kb it is.
If over 5mb it won't upload

Thanks everyone; i have printed your responses and will have my UPS man read this info. He does work on my computers. I have Kelly here too, and hopefully i can get some photos in shortly.
