Well it sure is a hot and sunny weekend that's for sure. It was supposedly meant to be raining here for most of the next few days, but that looks like a lie. Though not hot enough to turn into a fried tomato hahaha, you must have been under that heat for a long time to have turned brown hahaha.

went shopping straight after work then fell asleep for a couple of hours. got myself the new gilly cooper book so been doing a bit of reading, something i've not done for a while.

Well some folks say nite nite early don't they, no staying power !!

The top piccy is my little ship, a Dunkirk 'Little Ship' - a charter/trip boat, just having navigated through Trent Bridge, Nottingham and approaching our jetty to prepare for the sunday public 1 hour trips.

The second piccy is of me, with the guitar, on a 'crew' day trip to Newark, about 14 years ago. Ah, they were the days ! Seems such a long time ago, but sometimes it only seems like yesterday ! :-6

Ali we once knocked out our downstairs toilet to extend kitchen, we ended up having to get new ceiling, floor, and then decided to put in patio doors.. it just goes on and on, each thing you do causes ten more little things:wah:

Gill your little ship looks cool, i know my husband would love to own one, me too come to think of it. Sorry i scarpered last night, like u say, just cant hack the pace:wah:

Helen, Aw working on yer day off!!! tut how long you working for? well at least you not losing out on good weather lol.

Now i think Carol is still at her tin shed, maybe she will pop in later im not sure. Anyway hope you are having a blast Carol. Im going to my brothers caravan tomorrow and will be back wednesday. Its at Brompton on Swale, and the caravan sits right on the river Swale its lovely, hope the weather stays as good as its been here the past few days.

Its 7am here and darn cold. My baby foster boy spent the weekend with his dad and comes back at 10am today then I drive him over to spend the day with his Gran. Still got up at 5.30am even though he wasnt here.

When does carol come back?

Oh Ive had a nice couple of days and next Monday Im off for 4 days to Butlins.....12 of us.....and some of em are only going cause I am so somebody loves me;) and its 60s week music so should be a laugh AND im gonna record a CD there with about 10 songs on.........cost a fortune but so what.........Im worth it:yh_rotfl Good to see you guys here and thanks for those lovely words Joan and Ali and Kay....we have got to have a get together soon on MSN and try to have all the girls here on it.......should be a scream lol.
