Josh just brought home a poem book he made at school. I didn't know if I should laugh or cry (he is 12 yrs)....I type as written

MOM

Sick or healthy,

She always takes care of me,

I holler from my room,

Can you get me a drink,

She USUALLY says yes,

Can I have a sleepover,

She USUALLY says yes,

Can you take me wrestling,

She USUALLY says yes,

Can I have a subway, (........YO Wendy :wah: )

She USUALLY says yes,

Sick or healthy,

She always takes care of me.

I ADORE kids poetry!

My daughter wrote this:

Plain paper

Doodle paper

Scribbled paper

Ripped paper

Torn paper

Burn paper

Ash.

I liked it anyway!

Before I met the other half I used to date a chap from Dibden Purlieu, so spent an awful lot of time there.

My family are based in Shanklin although I have a sister over in West Wight, near the Needles.

The last needle rock and The Needles Lighthouse.
