hi again giggs,

i started with decoupage cos a freind showed me how and gave me some bits to get started, im afraid ive spent a fortune on it. ive done stamping aswell but that never seems to come out right. my grandaughter is doing it now and begs bits and pieces from me !!

a quick tip, save all your xmas/ birhtday cards and cut them out and make up your own cards from that, saves a lot of money lol.

i watch create and craft on ideal world and also paper crafting on qvc, you get a lot of good tips on there too.

Helen dont no if I am having much luck think my pic has only come up once its very complicated to hard for me to explain bit of trial and error for me.Will keep plodding tho.One minit it works next well who no's where the bloody picture goes lol.:-5 Beautifull here today sun is shinning and the day looks good.:-6 Love to all.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Another wet day here grrrrr. Glad to hear that the dog Kaz found has got its real mum back. I know Kaz got attached to it and was sad in a way which is human nature but I also know Kaz would have been happy for the owner and of course the dear little dog. I know what its like to lose a dog and the people who owned her must have been over the moon to get her back and thanks to our Kaz she did...........well done babe as without you there to have taken her in so much could have happened to her and she may have fallen into very bad hands but thanks to you no harm came to her:)

Im off out later and may not be home till late tonight. I was with most of you guys on this thread last night on msn and goodness we had a laugh didn't we.........sometimes its as if yer in my front room here lol.

On a much more serious note I have heard from our lovely Joan and although she is ok of course she is very sad bless her. Shes going away next week and maybe when she returns she may think about getting another dog which I for one agree with totally. Let me tell you something. Many years ago I lost a pup of 6 months old....Cindy....I was in a park and a car went through an hit her......thank goodness no cars are allowed now.....anyway......that afternoon I went and bought another pup. Not cause Im hard and so what I will get another dog......you guys know me better than that.....no it was because I needed to. I was so upset that I had to ease my pain and yes maybe I was being selfish in one way but getting my lilttle Scotty helped me so much. Of course I still cried for Cindy but having little Scotty eased my grief so much......looking at a sweet 8 week old Westie how can anybody be sad?Ok now I have 9 dogs.....no I dont breed and even then when my dear little Lucy nearly died a few weeks ago I went through hell but thank God my little 2kg miracle maltese came through it and even surprised the vet. Joan you do what your heart tells you and knowing you the way I do you will make the right decision. God Bless you my friendxxx

My birthdays have gotten less and less eventful as the years go on, but I still enjoy them all the same, especially when it comes to the birthday cake! :wah:

Well he was our cabin boy,, he knew it was our anniversary as we had taken all our cards to open there on the day. He was just such a nice man really:-6 Nothing was ever too much trouble, and if we went to bed 3 times a day,, whenever you came back to your room the bed was made again!!Of course we tipped him well at the end of the week;)

That's really nice of him, I wish more people on holidays were like that, we have had so many hotel or wherever staff treating us like dirt, and really ruining the experience. Glad you had a great time though, I've never been on a cruise before, but I hope too at some point, sounds like a load of fun. :-6

One thing though, you might have gone to bed 3 times a day, that's quite a lot isn't it! :sneaky:

But we absolutely loved the cruise, it was with thompsons, first time we had been on one. It was brilliant. Your should try it.

It was around the Canary islands, we had stayed in Tenerife for a week beforehand, the cruise went to the other Canary islands, Madeira and Morocco. We chose that one cos it was late March, early April so as to get the nice weather.

1st pic is the pool at our hotel in Tenerife , 2nd pic is view of Madeira from cable car, 3rd pic is a small island called Las Palmas .

I could only dream of going to places like that on holiday, but I hope too someday, and seeing pics like that really want me to get my passport back out!!

Thanks Chris,, it took a lot of saving up for but it was well worth it, a dream holiday. I hope you do get the chance to go someday:-6

Mind you i love going on hols and to be honest im not fussy if its abroad or Whitley Bay:wah: It does you sso much good to just get away from routine. Ww have booked a couple of cottages this year, the first week in Somerset, then up to Stratford, cant wait:D

i have a work annual dinner dance this saturday which should be good, I have just bought the most beautiful dress to wear.

I am having my hair curled and put up too, its the first posh do i have been to and want to look special.
