Nope not a cold, I have an ear infection, which is giving me a killer headache to boot. I'm just glad the weather is a little grim at the moment, because it has stopped my hayfever sneezing, and at a time like this that is the last thing I need!

Glad to hear you are well though! :-6

Haha yeah the weather has been really bad, and I hear it is supposed to be getting any better soon.

As for me, well just getting better really, depending on my ear I may try and pop into work on Friday, if not then just relax, and most likely spend hours on here, as I have done today! :D

I work at my local Marie Curie Nursing office, helping out as best I can. It's not too bad, and the people there are really nice. I'm probably going to be there for another few months, unless something else crops up.

I think I might see if I can buy the books again, not sure what happened to mine but it would be cool to read them to my future children and pass a bit of history on.

Yep that's what my parents did to me with the Noddy and Big Ears stories. I have a lot of them, and were what they used to read to me years ago.

Oh no me and anything to do with cookery is not a good match. My Home economics lessons back at school were to be frank a disaster. I'm so glad I got to drop that, before someone got seriously hurt hahaha. :wah:

And making your own cards, that sounds great. I'm sure it really means a lot to the receiver to see all the love and hard work you put into making it. :-6

hi giggs,

i've been making my own cards for about three years now. its so addictive. my original plan was to sell them but i've given more away than i've sold and its handy having a big box full when you've forgotton someones birthday and havnt got time to go to the shops.:D

yeah a lady i use to work with use to sell them for about 3 pound, not sure mine would be good enough for that though,

but like u say they are good to have when u have forgotton somebodys birthday or can quiclky pull the card making box out and make something simple.

I started with just stickers at first but i am now coming onto decoparge, and layering.

its soo nice to have someone else who makes card too.
