I know they deal in Gnosticism and there's something about alchemy in there. I know they usually believe in a polytheistic God...that there are many Gods who all equal one Divinity in the end. I know they have secret societies. The Rosicrucians and the Church of the Golden Dawn are part of their order. I'm sorry I can't answer about the spells.

How about this: why don't we both work on it together- the yin and the yang; we'll focus on rising above and kicking all the crap out of our lives, and maybe if we both put out enough desire for positivity into the ether, it will manifest into good for the both of us. A warlock is a male witch. That's what they're called in cheesy novels and bad horror flicks. In reality a male witch is still just called a witch. Or a sorcerer or a wizard or maybe some other things. And there are some people who do use that term but there really is no such thing as a warlock if you ask most pagans or witches.

As far as I know, transmigration has to do with the soul transferring itself immediately after death into a new life form. It's a philosophy of reincarnation. I don't know why they don't just call it that then but I don't spend a lot of time trying to understand reincarnation's principles anyway.

The Three-Fold Law or Wiccan Rede (aka Wiccan Creed) is the main tenet that Wicca is based upon. It maintains that whatever you put out, it will return to you three times as much. This is supposed to be a type of checks and balances system so that a witch doesn't get crazy with the hexes! :wah: If she puts out unwarranted negativity it will come back to her three times as powerful. And of course whatever good she puts out will also return threefold. Not all witches abide by this though. And not all witches are Wiccan. The Three-Fold Law is also explained thus: "An' it harm none do as ye will." Do what you want but harm no one.

Astrology is the study of how the planets coincide with a person's time of birth and how they affect events in that person's life.

There's more involved in it than I could explain here in a short paragraph but every planet has properties that coincide with the zodiacal signs. Astrology deals with sun signs, moon signs, and a ton of other stuff that gets pretty complicated. It's more than just the horoscope you see in the newspaper.

Whether or not it's genuine or bunch of hocus-pocus is a matter of personal opinion.

The Age of Aquarius can refer to several things. Supposedly certain planets will line up and all that's wrong in the world will right itself. The Rosicrucians think it's the time when all the answers to life's mysteries will be revealed. This is supposed to be around 2,600 AD. The Age of Aquarius means that and different things to different religions.

It was also a real popular song from the play "Hair" in the 1970s, sung by The Fifth Dimension.

I love jewelry. How did you know? I have an embarrassingly big collection of it. I collect vintage stuff when I can. The piece I love the most is a victorian sweetheart bracelet from the 1800s. It looks like a regular charm bracelet except it has silver coins dangling from it. All their faces are gone and they've been engraved with initials, dates, names and really intricate patterns and designs. The oldest coin is engraved "Mother...Christmas 1880." The designs are really something. I bought it for my 40th birthday.

My favorite pieces are the ones people have given me. I'm very sentimental. Last year my dad gave me a blue topaz heart shaped ring for my birthday that he chose himself (he never does that so it was extra special) and my mom gave me a real pretty white gold fancy chain necklace. That was the last gift I got from my mom before she left. I actually have only worn it a few times because it still hurts a little too much.

My best friend feeds my fetish and for Christmas and my birthdays, she gives me jewelry. One year I got a diamond necklace and then the matching ring to follow, next year I got a topaz ring and for my last birthday she gave me a white gold vintage style ring with an aquamarine and some little diamonds surrounding it. I think she likes me.

We've been friends since the sixth grade. We're each other's longest-had friend. But back to jewelry! I love the stuff. I don't wear a lot at any one time though.

Well, I haven't had anybody else come to my door about my dogs lately. I had one early morning visit from an arrogant mouthy cop and two visits from animal control and one neighbor who's circulating a nastygram about me, telling other neighbors to call animal control on me. I have a place that will take five of my dogs and rehome them and I'm going to hope I can sneak the others by because I'm still over limit. I have my court date coming up May 21st.

I can't wait to see what you come up with! The Wonder Woman signature cracks me up! Man, she was awfully thin back then. Toss that girl a Big Mac!

I drink diet soda all the time. Like other people drink coffee. I call it coke or soda about half and half. Sometimes pop, but rarely.

I love indoor plants. Outdoor plants too. I just like plants. And flowers. They make things a lot nicer.

I only wear sunglasses in summer. My current pair is a pair of black 1940-50s style cat-eyes with rhinestones on the corners. All the bridesmaids in my friend's wedding wore them. She had a 1940s style wedding and we all had to dress vintage. I had to wear a bustier with my gown and it dang near killed me. I looked good but I could barely breathe and Bert and Ernie were sitting up way too high to be comfortable. Sorry! This was about sunglasses! Yes, I wear them in summer. They're good for making a point. I had to go to city hall once and they kept sending me on a wild goose chase, from place to place and I wasn't getting anywhere. I got mad and barged into their office and whipped off my sunglasses and smacked them on the counter and said "Does anyone here know what the hell they're doing?!" I got help immediately. I'm sure it was the sunglasses that did it.

Nope....I never did that. I would never be able to handle that job with sick or injured animals, especially injured...and then having to put pets down for dumb reasons like their owners were moving into a no-pets apartment; stuff like that. I can pretty much handle a crisis when it's a human being suffering and I will take charge and do what's needed to help them. But when I see a dog or a cat who's been hit by a car or is somehow hurt and in pain, I just lose it. I'll still be able to help them but I'll be cussing and crying the whole time I'm doing it.

RIGHT! And I'll never be in another wedding! *itch itch* I was my best friend's maid of honor um...7 months ago. She's the only one I would ever do that for. You should see the pictures! Or....not. :-3 I was pushed up so high and proud I looked like I had "perma-breast!" I'm telling you it was not natural. My friend wears something like a AA, and I take a DDD. Ever had bean dip?

I love bean dip! Especially the hot bean dip (as in warm, not just spicy) they serve in Mexican places. The restaurant I usually go to out here has yummy bean dip and I ate it for like five years before I found out they put chorizo in it.

You know chorizo? Mexican sausage? It has things like beef cheeks and lips and beef salivary glands in it. I was so sick when I found that out. I wanted to gargle with Clorox.

But I'm not proud when it comes to bean dip. I'll buy the jalapeno kind that comes in the can put out by Frito-Lay.

I'm pretty sure I've seen some kind of spirit entities. My mom almost died from lung surgery about 7 years ago, from catching Morganelli virus. They didn't know that's what it was and they had been treating her for pneumonia. Finally they got it right but almost not in time. She told me she saw my grandmother and my aunt (both had been dead for some time) and they were calling her toward them. When she started to go, they got alarmed and pushed her back, telling her it wasn't her time yet. So maybe it was them I was seeing. At first because they were black, I assumed they were bad entities come after my mom. But I think differently now.

I also had one ghost experience but I didn't see her. I felt her and heard her. I think I wrote about that somewhere around here.

Oh man!! I love cotton candy!! I'd go to Cornfest and buy six and eight at a time. Can't do that anymore though because I'm diabetic. So I stop at four now. :rolleyes:

Can you blow bubbles?

You mean with gum? yeah. But it took me until I was 14 to do it. I could just never get it right and then one day on the way to Needles, I wasn't thinking about it and I just blew one. I was so jazzed.

I hate when the bubbles come out in those weird deformed bladder shapes. It gives me the heebie-jeebies and I spit them out.

Can you whistle? With finger? Without fingers?

I can't do it with fingers. I can do the whistle intro to Guns N Roses' "Patience" though.

How many years have you known your best friend?

I've known Lea since the sixth grade. So... 24 years. We're each other's longest-kept friend. We've gone a total of maybe seven years without speaking to each other, over a couple misunderstandings; neither of us really knows what they were about. I've looked her up twice, the last time she came back to me. I hadn't seen or heard from her in about five years and I had finally gotten over it and then a few years ago, she showed up at my door. I was so shocked I slammed the door in her face. Then I opened it up again and grabbed her and hugged her to pieces. Then after the initial thrill, I got angry because she had bailed on me. It brought back the hurt. It took me a while to get past that. It was kinda hard but we talked it over and worked through it and it's been like old times ever since. I asked her how long it took her to get the guts to come to me and she said she'd driven past my house for three days. She says we'll always find each other if we get lost again because we have that connection but I told her I won't do it a third time. She knows I meant it. I probably still would though. That's just my pride talking. I love her like crazy and she's more a part of my family than just a friend. I love all my friends for all the things they are to me. But there's something to be said for having a history with someone. We finish each other's sentences, know what the other is thinking, have a ton of inside jokes, have dirt on each other that no one else would ever know about. She became a cosmetologist because I was one. We don't always see eye to eye on things; she's conservative in her ideas and I'm way liberal and kinda radical sometimes. She's uncomfortable with physical affection and I like to love on the people I care about. But it works for us somehow. I'm always amazed at how highly she thinks of me. She doesn't say things to me generally, but she tells other people how talented she thinks I am and how she's impressed by stuff I know and just all kinds of really flattering things. I'm more passionate about things and I'm always telling her straight out that I love her and how great I think she is.

She got married 7 months ago and I was flipping out that it would kill our friendship. I was deeply, deeply afraid. I figured I'd be losing her all over again. We had some serious talks about it. I've lost friends to marriage before; it's like they go off into their own world and single people have leprosy. And everyone told me that's what would happen with us, that once she was married, she'd be busy with her own life and everything would change. Finally she told me to stop listening to what everyone else was saying and to trust her (wow! what a concept!) so I did. And everything's been cool with us since. Her husband's a friend of mine and that makes things even nicer when we can all go out together and just be down to earth and have a good time in one another's company. But now Lea's trying to marry me off and I'm not having any part of that!

Nope. I value my teeth so I'm friends with the dentist. :yh_bigsmi

Do you ever get depressed? How long does it last?

I've had depression all my life. Then some years back they rediagnosed me as bipolar.(manic-depressive) The depression part of that can last months or longer for me. At its worst it's lasted over a year but that was without any kind of medication for it.

Do you draw?

Only cartoons. I used to draw other stuff years back but not anymore. But if someone says something that hits me right, or I see something funny or moving, I'll whip up a cartoon about it on the spot. I think comics are a pure art form- you either get them right off the bat or you don't. Having to explain them destroys their integrity. For probably about ten or fifteen years I was drawing a comic strip that just stayed in the family or circulated among friends. My mom and dad would get a kick out of them because they were usually in them. My mom especially loved them so I'd keep them up for her, mainly.

I took a Sharpie to my mom's funeral and got down on the ground and drew one last comic for her on the end of her coffin before they set her in the earth. People were like "Oh God! She's defacing her mother's casket!" I knew Mom was probably laughing about it though so that was between me and her. It was a picture of us holding hands and I wrote a verse about how nothing could ever part us and how I loved her. My best friend was next to me and after I drew Mom, she said, "Don't forget to give her a halo." :-4 I love that girl. Nobody else would have ever said that. So I added a little sparkling halo to my mom. That's the last comic I've ever drawn. Probably will stay that way.

Do you write long romantic letters, or short to the point letters?

Friends, family and lovers get long, rambling, yet thought-out letters about anything that's in my heart and needs to be said. Formal or professional situations get elegant, classy, straightforward dealings from me.

Any of those are fine with me. I enjoy all the questions anyone asks of me and look forward to them. Mainly though, I like whatever questions are going to help people to get to know me better and find out what kind of person I am. Should they have any interest in doing so, that is.
