I think partly that is why it works. It makes you stop swallowing for a bit. And maybe cleans or cools your throat but it does work.

To add insult to bloody injury, the bloody kitchen will stink of bloody cider vinegar tomorrow, and the mess of bone china and crushed bloody Bath Olivers will have congealed with the fire-ash from last night when it was bloody cold and I'll have to scrape up the bloody mess with a bloody shovel. I think they are so cute, and the really small guppy one always comes to the glass when I come in there and stares at me...

Just wondered if this attachment is out of the norm?
