my lab has a eye infection ugh

any one have any advice what if anything i can do for my baby until tomorrow morn when i can get him to the vet? thanks:-3

I don't really know much about it - if it was one of my dogs I would probably just keep bathing it. Welcome to FG. Pheasy

I have heard from a member to bathe the area with water with alittle salt, i will do that for certain, thank for your reply and the welcome, I like the site alot and plan to stick around for awhile. :-6

hi

my little dog had an eye infection a while back and we treated him with optrex eye bath solution, his eye cleared up in 48 hrs..

I've heard that before too. I am not sure they get Optrex over here...I wonder what the USA equivalent is.

I got my babydog to the vet the next day and he was glad I did not put anything his eyes due to the fact that it could have been an ulcer which any drops would have made worse. I appreciate all of your advice and concerns, than you again:)
