From those excerpts you posted: I hasten to say that a day is coming when the Islamic people will join ranks with all the other peoples of our planet and declare Jesus Christ to be the Messiah and Savior of mortal humanity. Quite so, Christ will ultimately triumph over all institutionalized systems of theology, even that of the Muslims.

Welcome nice to meet you! I'll see you in the Religions thread. Nice to see a Radical Christian, although I dare say you may find our Indian Hindu a bit offended at your views. :wah:

Welcome to the Forum. Interesting referral you made, though not too sure if phrases like `Christianity`s Inevitable Global Triumph` won`t actually make non-believers more "anti" than they are at present. It`s the `certainty` of so many religious followers that puts so many people off.

Welcome. It's nice to have new folks aboard.

That being said you may not impress our Hindu friends with that site but neither am I too impressed as a Christian Pluralist.

Shalom

I can go along with that. I once heard a definition of optimist: a mouse running up the leg of an elephant with the intent of rape. LOL.

Talk about an optimist. I just ordered 5 books that are required for the course I am taking this summer at the Vancouver School of Theology. The course is with Dr. Matthew Fox on spirituality, science and mystical experiences. HE has a good web site and seems to be quite in ture with todays thinking.

I will probably eventually get the five books read but not in the short time I have betwen now and the course; first week of July.

Shalom

Welcome.

I'm sure the other religions can compile stories showing how their religion will be the one to prevail as well. Sounds like a very controversial book.
