Hello, and welcome to the garden. By the way, everyone who has posted above me is dead wrong...watch out for Nomad!! He is the shifty one here.

I am a fan of some of Stephen King's writing, also. What is your favorite??

I don't have a favorite book of Stephens, I like all of them. I like his short stories though, I just started reading his older stuff when he was writing under richard bachman, and I love them too. I just read one that had three short stories in it, and they were sooo good! I can't remember the name of the book, the stories were: Rage, the long walk, running man, I recommend reading it!

I liked "The Stand" even though I didn't really understand it very well.

maybe he will come back as CI-783??? Yeah, I was wonderin' what happened to him too...after all the pain he put us through you'd think he'd stick around longer...

Oh by the way Tazlady...I have a bad habit of throwing threads, not intentional and feel free to fuss at me for doin' so...I can handle it, after all I am "WonderWendy" :wah: :wah:

I do read dean kootz as well, I just finished one of his that I didn't like as much as the others but of all the ones I have read, he is a good thriller writer, does anyone know if any of his books have been made into movies? I have never read the stand but I think I own it.
