you and I terri have pm'd each other about loads of sad things and fun things , when my daughter died someone said to me while my partner still had the milk in her to feed our baby never mind you can have another one , when my brother died one person said after one day ,you have to get over it pull yourself together , i really don't think normal people have any idea what so ever what its to have really bad grief , i would travel any distance if i had the funds just to sit down and talk to someone with it ,i remember talking with a friend after my Natasha died about her death and how terrible i felt , he actually changed the subject and talked about football , a few years later his brother died in a car crash , he drove over a hundred miles to find me and to say sorry as he had no idea how bad i had felt , if people knew how bad it was do you think they would still use terms like sympathy junkie and stuff like that , coz let me tell you people no one wants to feel grief its the worst pain you can ever feel and i've felt a lot in my time ,but when you have it its all you have ,if you wanted too you cant think of anything else ,it consumes you totally , would you agree red or did i just feel it different to you :-4

No Jim, I think that just about covers it. People are crazy sometimes. They know not the impact of what they say. I can't imagine people saying that stuff to you but I know they do. People are callous and cavalier a lot of times when it comes to death. They weird out. Sympathy junkie? That's cruel.

I know for the last almost-year I've found myself in this special club I don't want to be a member of but I get no choice. And even though I am alone...I am not alone.

I know some of those odd people too. My best friend even, has absolutely no comprehension of what I am going through. She who is supposed to be my shadow. I try to explain I have lost most of my world, my biggest fan, the one who was always inmy corner and always loved me without condition. She just looks at me blank and says "remember the good times." Like those don't hurt just as bad. I think if anyone ever called me a sympathy junkie, I would be forced to pound some compassion in to them.

And yeah...grief is a hard animal. It is all consuming and soul rendering.

I'm not done with mine by a long shot...but I am ready to come out and start living again....

Sympathy junkie my @ss. That's burning me up. I bet I know where it came from too.

That is so awesome, RG. My mom was also my biggest fan. The loss is soul-changing and the ache never goes away.

Probably not. New York doesn't turn me on.

Ellis Island if I went.

How fast can you type?

Fast. But my accuracy sucks.

Red. Pink comes a close second but red by far.

Have you lived in Arizona your entire life?

No. I'm actually a California girl. I lived there until I was 8. But having done all my growing up here and being as proud of AZ as I am, I just consider myself a native.

A tie for Jealous Again and Could I Have Been So Blind. I love to belt out that part in Jealous Again when Chris yells "Don't you think I want to, don't you think I would , don't you think I'd tell you baby if I only could." Can't resist that part. What's yours??

Either strawberry or apple cinnamon. I'm big on apple things.

Yep. I've had many perms over the years but not any more. Now it's just wavy on its own. I'm not really a curly person. I just do soft waves now.

:wah: What exactly is on your mind there, Tazz??

1. No, I have never talked to K on the phone.

2. Sure, but only if he wanted me to.

3. I have no idea but I would imagine he has a pretty cool voice.

4. Because it disposes of your garbage for you? That's its job?

Sometimes. Not often though. And if I do, it's usually not for Easter but just for everyday.

Radio (that worked)

a friend

toothbrush

Have you ever been on the East Coast?

Yes but it was a long time ago. I rode from California to Rochester NY.

Ever been to Mexico?

Yes, several times. Just to Algodones which is right over the Yuma, AZ border.

Ever been to Canada?

Nope, not yet.

Ummmm, I think this is the "Ask Red Glitter" thread, not the "Red Glitter Asks" thread...:wah: :wah:

So, ummm, Is this a serious question?

Are WE (notice I'm including myself) going to meet up??

Wouldn't that be the coolest???

I would promise to behave myself, do you believe that???

I was dreaming of winning the lottery today and what I would do with all the money, which is funny because I hardly ever play...but anyway...one of the things I would do a lot is travel and visit all my Forum friends around the world...a dream of mine!

So here's the question...if you had the time and money and you could travel, where would be the first, second and third place you would visit??
