I was standing just over this little hill and I heard this weird breathing and these weird noises and I just knew it was a bear come to maul me. I turned around expecting to get my face wiped off, jelly knees, heart stuck in throat, and it was my "FRIEND" tricking me. I nearly had myself an accident over it. It was funny once I was safely in the truck though. Friends man....sometimes I wonder.

If you could have any super power what would it be?

What's your favorite flavor when getting a snowcone?

Just so you know I saw some Black Walnut icecream last night at Braums, but didn't get it. I still stand by the fact that nuts do not belong near anything that's smooth and creamy. :D

Tazz, I think magic is a universal element that no one talks about. It's there, you just have to know what to do to get your share. It's all in how you use the power and manifest what it is you desire.

What is wrong with your hand? I hope it will be normal for you again.

Flop, this is the same thing as putting Braille on the drive-up tellers at the bank! They pay the same induhvidual for coming up with bright ideas like these.

It's nice to see you....:)

Superpowers....Invisibility or the power to cause people to do what I wanted. I'd be a witch like Samantha.

Sher, try the black walnut! What you said belongs in Koan's Innuendo Thread- see you're getting the hang of it! :wah: But seriously it's no different from pecan praline or butter pecan, maybe not as sweet, and you can avoid the nuts if you want. It's good stuff, Maynard.

Snowcone....strawberry or cherry! As long as it's red! And if you mean those shave-ice things then red candy apple is my favorite. :)

No, I've never seen Braille money but it might be interesting.

I used to play Ants in the Pants all the time. It was one of my favorites.

What are your plans this upcoming weekend?

Does it make you sleepy when it rains?

More stupid spring cleaning! Maybe some painting. I mean the decorative kind. My studio beckons.

Does it make you sleepy when it rains?

No. I always feel completely alive when it rains and I want to go out and get in it and do things.

I am romantic but I don't think too much in the traditional flowers/candy/candlelight dinner ways of showing it....although I like those things.

This is going to probably come off stupid but it depends on who it is and what they do....like my once-fiance used to give me roses all the time which most would consider a romantic thing to do but the thing that stands out for me in our years together was when we were dirt poor and we had a bad winter and he surprised me with a pair of pink gloves so my hands would stop bleeding from the cold. That he cared for my wellbeing was what got me. That was 18 years ago and I will still cry if I think about it.

That said, it's other stuff too...it's someone brushing my hair out of my eyes when I'm busy working or calling me in the middle of the night just because they wanted to hear my voice. It's letting me comfort them when they're sick and letting me fix their favorite dinner on a bad day. It's just consideration really, the way I see it. I have this feeling I'm the only one who knows what the heck I'm going on about... :thinking:

Oh Tazz, this is nigh impossible to say. I have known so many good ones. I'd have to run and look through my books to find them to list for you. But I'll tell you two of my favorites...

Annabel Lee by Edgar Allan Poe.

It was many and many a year ago,

In a kingdom by the sea,

That a maiden there lived whom you may know

By the name of Annabel Lee;--

And this maiden she lived with no other thought

Than to love and be loved by me. She was a child and I was a child,

In this kingdom by the sea,

But we loved with a love that was more than love--

I and my Annabel Lee--

With a love that the winged seraphs of heaven

Coveted her and me.

And this was the reason that, long ago,

In this kingdom by the sea,

A wind blew out of a cloud by night

Chilling my Annabel Lee;

So that her high-born kinsman came

And bore her away from me,

To shut her up in a sepulchre

In this kingdom by the sea.

The angels, not half so happy in Heaven,

Went envying her and me:--

Yes! that was the reason (as all men know,

In this kingdom by the sea)

That the wind came out of a cloud, chilling

And killing my Annabel Lee.

But our love it was stronger by far than the love

Of those who were older than we--

Of many far wiser than we-

And neither the angels in Heaven above,

Nor the demons down under the sea,

Can ever dissever my soul from the soul

Of the beautiful Annabel Lee:--

For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams

Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;

And the stars never rise but I see the bright eyes

Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;

And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side

Of my darling, my darling, my life and my bride,

In her sepulchre there by the sea--

In her tomb by the side of the sea.

The other one is....

Funeral Blues (Stop All the Clocks) by WH Auden

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,

Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,

Silence the pianos and with muffled drum

Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead

Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead,

Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,

Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was my North, my South, my East and West,

My working week and my Sunday rest,

My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;

I thought that love would last for ever: I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;

Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;

Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.

For nothing now can ever come to any good.

Thanks for asking.... :)

In short I am afraid someone will die. Or worse, be a vegetable. Either me or someone else. I have a problem getting past that. Had a few accidents (I didnt cause them) seen a few others, got put off my feed.

But I hate telling people. There's always someone who wants to make me feel second class about it so I've learned to say I'm an epileptic so they'll stay quiet. :thinking:
