How many ways to use duck tape.

This is everyones chance to tell a story on how they used duck tape.

When I got married the first time, I had a beautiful dress, My girls kept falling out, the only thin availible was duck tape. So, my sis decided to ducktape me and it was fine, until I had to take it off. that is my story.

I have nothing that exotic...

About a month ago I broke both ears off my glasses and didn't have two nickels to rub together at the time so I duct taped them back on. They were hideous but at least I could see. (I only wore them around the house though)

Wow. My eyes aren't working right yet. I thought the end bit said "(I only wore around the house a thong)"

and was trying to tie that into the duct tape theme. :wah:

I have used duct tape to repair many things.Toys,house hold items,pipes,wooded items, and the list goes on

it is a great thing

My Dad used duck tape for everything (mr. fix it).

I always, always,always have duct tape in my van, my last vehicle I lost the oil cap

(dont ask) and anyway called a junk yard he said he had one, I slapped on some

handy dandy duct tape and when I got there he laughed so hard he gave it to me for free.

Said he had never seen that before! Ha ha

i read somewhere that a lady went to a car spares and said her 710 cap was broken , the guy said i've never heard of that the lady went and got it showed the guy and he just fell about laughing ,the lady annoyed demanded to know what he was laughing at ,the guy managed to get out in between fits of laughter turn it upside down ... the lady did then she saw the word OIL :wah: :wah:

It helps if you get the color duct tape though, all I had was industrial grey and looked funky with it on my pinky finger!!

I had bought all kinds of stuff and fought to get rid of it, avoiding the doctor at all costs...duct tape is the winner!!:-6

Here is a good one! Duck tape bed. Roomates taped him in while he was sleeping, when he rolled to get out, he got duck tape stuck to him.

A few years back I worked in a gift shop that was in an old house. It had rooms that were on different levels. Anyway the customers would fall down those single steps as they would be looking around and fall. I asked my boss to do something about it, to no avail. So I bought a roll of RED duct tape and taped the steps edges. no one ever fell again. Didn't even get a thank- you from my boss.:-5

The Ten Articles of Duct Tape

Article I

Duct Tape cannot fix everything. I promise to refrain from trying to fix the following things with duct Tape:

The National Debt

The San Andreas Fault

A Broken Heart

Article II

Duct tape should not be forced on others. Some people don't like duct tape on their house, car, chairs, pants, shoes, gloves, tools, televisions, pets, sports gear, and farm equipment, but that's their problem. I will learn to be more tolerant of these people and keep my duct tape to myself.

Article III

Other forms of tape are probably still necessary, even with duct tape. I am not sure for what, though.

Article IV

I should never exaggerate when telling my friends about my best duct tape stories. As a duct tape "Adhesive Solutions Engineer," my true exploits are usually hard enough to believe, anyway.

Article V

There are some things that I should throw away, even with duct tape around. (I know that I may need to ask for help in identifying what these things might be).

Article VI

When I forget to take my duct tape with me, it's okay...

Article VII

People that don't use duct tape aren't bad people -- they just don't know any better.

Article VIII

Duct tape is not all-powerful, although it has many of the same attributes as the Force -- it has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the whole universe together. ("May the Duct Tape be with you.")

Article IX

I will never misspell duct tape as duck tape...

Article X

It's okay to admit that I need duct tape in my life -- in as many colours, lengths, and widths as is possible -- because nobody is perfect. In other words, everyone can use a little duct tape now and then.
