I am thrilled Steph survived the episode last night! Janu saved her butt. It is Soo time to send Tom packing. He's good for sure but he's threatening to more likable people, plus his badly discolored and blemished skin is just plain gross to look at. For the 1st time though Janu put out an effort in the reward challenge and her being briefly banished helped her I think. It should have been a weeklong banishment. Woulda been more interesting. Katie is the most useless person around next to Gregg's girlfriend. I don't get her unearned 'status' on the show. And her belly button is so big you could fit a plum in it!:yh_sick The previews showing Steph rallying the girls to vote out Tom was encouraging. Her only hope I think. I was so happy to see her make it thru tribal. I want her to win it all, next I'd want Ian followed by Caryn. I don't like the rest as much anymore.

Yeah! Go Steph! She's making some good connections too!

Janu saved her butt.

QUITTER! What a Lame-bo! Did you see Jeff throw her torch on the ground? LOL!

HEY! Cut that out! Tom's my boy, he's a good guy! But I think he's being too aggressive right now, you should never start wining every immunity this soon in the goame.

If old tommy lets winning go to his head like rum does he could be slitting his own throat I'm afraid.

i tend to agree, although as that model chick from a few seasons back proved, you can never have too much immunity - she won because of her unbroken string of immunities late in the game. if tom can keep winning immunity, he could potentially take it all the way.

i'm rooting for steph though.

one thing that hasn't come up so far on FG - which is good - is the issue of 'spoilers'. i think it would good if we established now some rules in that respect. most people know the rules in an unwritten fashion, but having them out here clear as day can save some grief. particularly considering that we have a global audience here at FG, the potential for ruining someone's enjoyment is real.

so: as a matter of policy, for a topic such as Survivor, or any other where learning too much too soon can ruin one's enjoyment of the show, if you wish to discuss the show after you've viewed it, please indicate in early in your post whether there are any spoilers, and use 'whitespace' to help prevent wandering eyes from seeing something they didn't see, to wit:

"man, what a great show last night! i can't contain myself! i wanna talk about it, even though i'm in new york, and have just finished watching survivor at the equivalent of 6pm pacific time, two hours before the west coasters have seen it! so, to prevent spoiling their enjoyment,

SPOILER ALERT!! don't look below if you don't want to know!:

wasn't it great how jeff tossed janu's torch on the ground? just like that guy from a season or two ago who was afraid of getting pneumonia and so decided to quit also. geez, play the game or don't play at all. so glad janu is gone though. woo hoo!"

so there you have it. the spoiler alert.

Whoops! i forgot myself, Anny's right, let's post no spoilers!

Another way to get around that is to color the text with the same color as the background...then it turns invisible until highlighted, like this....

color your spoilers like this!

Great Idea. Especially since I have to drive to a friend's in the wee hours after work Thursday to pick up a tape since my VCR is kaput. I have no idea how to do "whitespace" though.

IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN SURVIVOR SKIP THIS!! What a tremendous disappointment to see Steph voted off. I always liked Caryn, not anymore. I hate them all! Ian is the only one I guess I truly don't want to punch in the face! How much you wanna bet one of the lazy girls will win the whole thing. I miss Steph already! The Game rewards losers most of the time. Sigh......

the way to add whitespace is just to hit the return/enter key a bunch of times. like this.
