Oh Boy--------going way back, like age 10, I sold the old "Saturday Evening Post" door to door for a year while living in New Jersey then had a newspaper route at age 11 to 12, moved to Colorado and had another paper route from age 12 to 13, then moved to California and had a Shopping News route and worked Saturdays at a Washeteria taking clothes out of the big dryers. I was a Door Man and ticket taker at a theatre while in High School and also was a Box Boy at a Super Market at the same time. Summer time as a junior in High School I worked grave yard for Libby Mc Neil & Libby loading cases of fruit cocktail onto a boxcar. Went into the military for four years during the Korean War and went to college on the G.I. Bill while working nights for the San Francisco Coroners office. Worked as a licensed Funeral Director & Embalmer for about 1,800 funerals and made a major career change at age 30 going into the Insurance Business, hung onto the insurance licenses and picked up a Securities License (Series 7) studied and acquired professional designations in both insurance and securities CLU & ChFc. Worked at helping Self Employeds and Small Corporate owners with Pension & Profit Sharing Plans as well as Employee Benefit Programs. 27 years later at age 58 I retired. That was 14 years ago. I love retirement. Sometimes I think I was really born to be retired.

BTW-----------My grandson, at age 20, has never had a job.
