2 Iraqis

Two Iraqi spies met in a busy restaurant after

they had successfully slipped into the U.S.

The first spy starts speaking in Arabic. The

second spy shushes him quickly and whispers:

"Don't blow our cover. You're in America now,

speak Spanish"

Rather than predjudice, it's funny because there's a large amount of truth in it. People who refuse to learn and or speak the customary nationally recognized (although not yet legally recognized) language of the United States, **** many of us off. It is a show of disrespect as we see it.

No you dont' have to predjudiced or racist to think the joke is funny. So all of you who are saying that you have to be racist to laugh at this joke need to lighten up. :rolleyes:

It is no more racist or prejudiced than a blond joke. For crying out loud if someone made a joke about a blue inked pen, I imagine someone would think it is a prejudiced joke about blue people.

I think anyone who would find that joke to be racist rather than socionomically accurate, would have to be a little bit too tight for me.

In fact I think we ought to have a section for all kinds of stereotypical jokes with no holds barred. Make fun of blondes, bimbos, geeks, Irish, Polish, german, American, white, black, asian, Latino, ETC; drunks, druggies, gays, heteros, adults, kids, rich, poor, fat, thin. Leave out no one. I am so sick of all this PC crap. I can think for myself and I like other people who do as well. If you don't like the joke that's certainly fine, but don't be bandying about the racist/prejudiced label for something that is saddeningly true.

Any non-PC people who like to do their own thinking, please contact me so I can stick you on my buddy list. I want you there.

The joke is funny, it's not prejudiced, not racist, not political, it's just funny! You "HAVE TO BE HERE IN the good ol US of A" to understand it! Outsiders don't get it, as it's an "inside" joke you have to "be here" to appreciate it!

It would be intresting to find out if the objecters outside of USA that think this joke is prejudiced in fact themselves do speak Spanish. And if not, how would they feel if their nation's language, including the majority of state forms were now in Spanish, phone messages "in-English" push 1, singing USA national anthem in Spanish, making our teachers learn to speak Spanish, the list goes on & on.

Outside USA objectors, most of your Country's language is English. How would you feel & like it, to be forced to learn Spanish. Instead of having the forigners in your Country have to learn your language. And then have your national Anthem sung in a foreign language at major events, majority of your official forms in Spanish, push 1 for English on phones, & on & on?

So true. You want a job in a doctor's office in my area, you better be bilingual.
