Hey...I see that eyebrow. ;)

So, probably everyone's already asked this before but I'd like to know how long have you been in racing and do you have a photo of your car that you would show us? How do you deal with the fear aspect of driving at high speed?

Oh I have yet to start my rookie year, and I plan to make a couple of races this year...

My father has been racing since he was about 28, and was a backup driver for Bobby Jacks in the ARCA Re/Max Series...

They used to travel to Daytona, Talladega, Pocono, and alot of the big time tracks...The team was called Combined Racing...I say "they" because back then I was born in the middle of all of it, but all of us together still build race cars along with Bobby Jacks in our race car shop in Dayton Ohio...

We could have very well ended up in the Nextel series if we had the sponsorship to help us out financially...We used to race with Davey Allison, Bobby Allison and alot of others whom raced and some whom still race in the Nextel Cup...Bobby Jacks won the Pocono All Star 150 race in 1986, and he's currently 57th in all time laps lead in ARCA two spots behind Darrell Waltrip and five spots behind Micheal Waltrip...

http://www.arcaracing.com/content/view/996/140/

We just race local tracks around Ohio and Indiana now, but my brother works on a Hooters Pro Cup circuit series car...

I'm waiting to be more financially secure before I start racing, as if I wreck it, then my season will practically be over,..but I plan on getting a job I have applied for and upon my training will start out making about $40 -$45k /yr...

I'm enthusiastic about starting though.

Here's my car.

That car is cool, when I am in America, can I have a go, or is that not allowed, oh please, you can show me how to drive it like a proper race car and I promise not to crash. :guitarist

So in other questions, what other kinda daredevil stuff can you do, have you ever parachuted out of a plane, been involved in a minor civil war in Africa, been on the run from the mafia, walked across the Arctic with some husky s, or lived among the bears in Canada or the pacific northwest eh?

Well, I never have trusted open wheels, so I would have to say being in the Nextel Cup...

We have some pretty competent people around us in our garage now and after competing on tracks like Daytona, Talledega, and Pocono, we would be able to hold our fair share...As long as we had the financial backing of course to go behind the research and development pertaining to stock car racing.

I would have to be the driver though, naturally.

Well, I was watching a documentary on airplane mishaps today, and discovered that upon a window being blown out of the airplane being sucked out through the window is highly unlikely...Although it said that you may end up being a sort of plug for it.

Yeah you could drive it...But you put it in the wall, you pay for it. :wah:

No, no, no, no, and no...

I don't put my life on the line in the hands of anyone but myself...And I've never learned to pack my own chute, so I have of yet to parachute.

Most of what I know from my ancestry they are from Germany...

My great great grandmother came over here with my great grandmother(Mothers side) in 1912, while both of them married my grandfathers whom both happen to have been from Germany...

My fathers side of the family being named Snyder obviously I'm assuming have had ancestry from Germany as well, but from his mothers side of the family her maiden name was McClure, so I am thinking some of our ancestors are from Ireland or Scotland...Seeing as how I don't regularly hear of any Spaniards with the last name McClure.

As of right now I have to say that I am still hesitant in flying...

And after the documentary that I watched on the Discovery channel earlier about people being sucked out of airplanes, my preference for flying has somewhat declined...

I would paddle my way over there to see you though.

I am planing on it...

The job my father was supposed to have lined up for me didn't fall through because they are actually laying people off because business is slow...

All this after waiting 3 months to hear about it...It was supposed to be "any day now"...

Now I have to go through someone else.

How much does it cost to see a game of football in the States?

Anything from £25 to £50 in England.

I'm assuming you're talking about soccer...

It's anywhere from about $10 - $50 usually...The box seats are probably significantly higher than that.

Keep trying! You will get something. I know how hard it is, I have been looking to change jobs for 2 months now, put in applications, heard back from a couple, but really did not want those jobs. Waiting for one of the doctors offices to call back, I think I would take one of those. Less work than what I do now. Oh yeah , I have to ask you a question. How many times did you ask jimbo a question on the ask jimbo thread?

We got about 6 inches over the past few weeks...

It's in the mid 30's right now, but a few weeks ago it was in the teens I believe...It seems the Spring is drawing nearer.

And no, I am honored

No not yet...

Even if I were to spin out and put it in the wall I would have to pay for it to fix it again to get it race ready, and I can't take that chance...I was planing on being employed by now, but I'm not and now I am missing the first part of the season.

Well I was in the middle of taking a maths class today (Teaching plumbing students how to work out long division)

and a question for you popped into my head pmsl........weird!

Cant remember what it was though now!!!!

in the meantime.....

how many members can you name off the top of your head?

Do you drink alcohol if so what's your favourite tipple?

Are you an active member in any other on-line forum?

If you could go back to any point in history where would it be and why?

Do you drink alcohol if so what's your favourite tipple? I drink alcohol, although I'm not a very big liquor drinker...I still drink liquor, it's just that I hate the hangovers the next day.

Are you an active member in any other on-line forum? I am a member of a couple of other forums, but as far as "active", I post significantly more in here.

If you could go back to any point in history where would it be and why? I would probably like to go back to the point before life existed on Earth to get a better understanding of how phenomenal all of it really is.
