Animal shelter/rescue/small holding.

Post by sambelittle »

Hi everyone I am setting up an animal shelter/rescue/small holding.

To get monies for this I am putting my family home up for sale, once I have renovated it. Also in the meantime I have set a website up with adsense, I am not asking for donations as such but I would be grateful if you check my website out.

Thankyou in anticipation.

Sam.

It's nice to see people devoting themselves to a cause like that.

Good luck with your shelter. You'll find a lot of members here who love animals as well.

Hope you join in with discussions.

Welcome to FG.

Welcome to ForumGarden, Sam.

How large and varied are these animals? Is this a mini-Longleat you're building?

Thank you for all your good wishes.

If I had my way it would be a mini longleat.

Mostly it will be domestic animals but saying that I will be looking after the wildlife as well.

I feed the birds, ducks and squirrels.

Hi Sam!

Welcome to FG! I used to run a small cat and dog rescue so I was especially happy to see your post. I wish you the best in this endeavor. :-6

You might have a look at www.bestfriends.org; they are the premier animal sanctuary that many look to for guidance. If you have any questions on how to do what you're doing, I am sure Best Friends will have the answers for you.

The dogs on your website are darling. :-4

Good luck!
