This is what makes this country great. The official monster raving loony Party, they are fielding a record number of candidates this year, however there are some independants leading to fears that in some constituencies the silly vote will be split.

aaah yes the raving party, how could i have let that slip my mind *shakes head*

i think we should all vote for these guys, itd be interesting to see what would happen to the country if nothing else!

apparently the conservatives slogan

'are you thinking what were thinking'

was the same slogan used by............. wait for it..................

a TV advert for the programme 'bananas in pyjamas'!!! whoops, their election campaign manager may have wanted to choose their slogan more carefully!

um..... well thats a bit out of date! im married now! and married life is the best thing in the entire world! with my husband by side my life is complete

Makes me think of the Dunny on the Wold election in Blackadder 2.

Where Baldrick became canidate because the incumbent accidentally cut off his head whilst combing his hair. The voter then cut off his head whilst shaving to be replaced by Blackadder who cast 16,000 votes for Baldrick

Nearly right, he is standing as an MP, he is actually quite a hardliner in labour circles and is known to despise the popularist stance of his Tonyness
