I wasnt offended by the entire thread. I was offended by the joke being a joke about a physical disability in general, as in my last post to jimbo, I dont like ANY jokes that poke fun at those with disabilities they cannot help or things about them they cannot change (and wouldnt want to). I answered your questions to me in your last post. Even if I didnt have a body amputated it still wouldnt be funny to me, and all I was doing was stating I didnt find it funny.

If she didn't want to divulge personal information then she could have stayed out of the thread. These jokes will always exist. It was never personal.
i have to go with koan on this one dg , if you had said it was upsetting you that would of been the end of it , just out of interest what sort of limb did you lose , i nearly lost my leg in a motorbike crash years ago it still gives me grief now but worst of all my bike was a write off

Has anyone heard the joke 'The Aristocrats"?
An interesting study in humor and just how far you can take it before someone finds it offensive.
I'm not going to tell it. It's an art.
But trust me, if you are easily offended, DON'T Google it.
