With a statement like the one above I have every confidence you will be just fine. You have wisdom beyond your years. Life unfolds as we go. Very seldom do plans we make not change. Be flexible. And I hate saying this because it sounds cliche but please dont forget to stop and smell the roses from time to time. Each second counts.

Ditto what Nomie said - you'll be fine, it's a rare 16 year old who doesn't think they know everything:wah:

That's incredible, skittles.

You're one smart cookie! I bet you'll find people look out for you when you get there. If they do, let them.

Ok, I got married when I was 18. I was about to go to college, decided to wait a day so I could go to my church one last time, and met the man of my dreams at church. Got married 10 months later, and 2 months after that I was living on the other side of the US without my parents. Needless to say, I had to grow up quick!

The one thing I wish I did more; listen to my parents. I'm only 21 now, but it still surprises me how immature some adults can be! You always look up to adults to know everything! And when they dont, its a shocker!

THe only thing I can tell you is, #1 listen to the parents- my dad gave me 3 rules that have ALWAYS helped me! #1 dont tell everything ya know, #2 don't ever lie, and #3 never pass up the opportunity to use the restroom! (I know they sound weird, but when you get into a weird situation the bathroom one really works!), #2 save you money! Every penny you save now is worth $100 when you are older, and #3 know that the only way to learn about life is to experience it! and P.S. grown ups dont always know everything- just smile and nod- and chin up! It could be worse! Hope that helps a little!:D

So, i pretty much have to learn life in a month or two. Is there really such a thing? See i figure that no one can truly learn life ever, but only get wiser. But even the wisest person does not know everything. See i respect some adults cause they truly know things, but then there are those who are ignorant, how do i respect that? So it comes down to me and AAAAAAA i'm scared. I hope i'm one of the ones who really truly know things. My, how you've grown up to be such a wise young lady.

I have a feeling you're gonna be just fine hon. :-4

Skittles, you go out there and work at it, stand up for yourself and learn everything you need to do what you want. There's nobody here who's not going to feel proud of you, we've watched you grow for a while and you're worth every hope we have for you. There's nothing out there that's going to stop you. As for growing up, here's the secret nobody tells children: growing up is an add-on, it's not a replacement. You'll still have that daft child in there to call out whenever you need her.
