Does anyone miss him as much as I do? It was so so sad to read the news when he died(a couple of years now).
What a great talent. The Sweeney, Morse, etc etc. He had such a unique style.

i used to like him in the sweeney ,i found the one where he drove the jag a bit hard to understand

Top actor who would surely have been knighted at some point had he lived. His performance in "Goodnight Mr.Tom" was pretty good. For most lads my age though, he would always be Jack Regan. If you think about it, the top cop in Life On Mars is a direct rip of his character. Ok, now I'm humming the Sweeney theme tune :rolleyes:
