I am one of those people who likes closure. Don't most girls? This is a place to say bye...or sleep tight...or whatever...kind of like...signing off.

When I was a kid we used to yell across the hallway to each other at bedtime the same thing every single night, no exceptions:

Good night.

Sleep tight.

Don't let the bed bugs bite.

I can't recall when it stopped but I think it was when we moved and didn't share the same hallway to our bedrooms.

for then they'll turn

black and blue
