They look like tatoos.

It would give some credit to the Govt Conspiracy Theory.

Possibly some kind of tracking device so they can keep tabs?
The poolhall's a great equalizer. In the poolhall, nobody cares how old you are, how young you are, what color your skin is or how much money you've got in your pocket... It's about how you move. I remember this kid once who could move around a pool table like nobody had ever seen. Hour after hour, rack after rack, his shots just went in. The cue was part of his arm and the balls had eyes. And the thing that made him so good was... He thought he could never miss. I know, 'cause that kid was me.

I'm not from the US but I watch this show and I think these scars were made by Claire's dad while he was investigating them. Matt and the radiation guy said that they got these scars after the fainted so I don't think all heroes got them.

Yup. Is it just me, or did the writers just leave a bunch of questions unanswered? The show has more loose ends than a frilly rug.

I couldn't agree more. I want to see what they do with Hiro. Volume Two should give alot of answers.

I really like this show. The finale did leave a lot to be desired, I guess that is their hook to bring us back next season.
