Most of you will probably know that I'm a bit of a Bruce Springsteen nut. Over 60 CD's bear testament to this. My girlfriend went to the new re-vamped Fort Dunlop in Birmingham yesterday to look round a furniture shop. Just in passing she went into a gallery there too. They had an exhibition on of photographs by Eric Meola. The pictures in question were all the unseen photos from the shoot for Springsteens classic 1975 album Born To Run. The exhibition had been in Birmingham since November and yesterday was the final day. They were starting to take it down while she was there. Just my bloody luck that I only found out after the event. I drive past this building every night. It has only been there a short time as previously it was at a gallery less than half a mile from where I work. A double-whammy for Krammy. She picked up a brochure with some pix in as my consolation prize though. Copies of some of the photos are available for up to £5000 for a 20" x 20". Even my devotion wouldn't stretch to that. I would have loved to have seen them though.

Thanks Abs. Seems ironic that I would have travelled some distance to see the exhibition and passed within feet of it for 3 months.

I'm sure if you get in touch with snap gallery they'll tell you where they are going to be exhibited next.

I've just had a look out of the window and there are no display cabinets set up in my garden (yet)
