I put on so much weight when i was ill, i only have one pair of jeans that fit me :-1

I just saw a special on tv about one of my heros, Gil Gerard, who played Buck Rogers, had ballooned up to 350 pounds at one time. He got a gastric bypass and looks very healthy again. I expect he is 180. He said he once went to a dinner someplace and someone asked him when Gil Gerard was going to arrive. He did not recognise him.

I would love to have that done, but had enough surgery to last a lifetime. Am going back to basics....low fat food and exercise :-5

My kids love the snow until a snowball hits them, then they don't venture outside again!!! It really looks magical when the snow is scattered over everything

Suzy, IMO that is the BEST way to lose weight...have 2 good friends of mine that have had that same surgery, and I know only 2 people vs. millions...but I know them personally and they have had nothing but problems with other things since the surgery...

I just am a firm believer in moderation, as I sit here eating chips and salsa!!...in moderation!!:-5

Oh I have a snowball in my freezer already, only been snowing for a couple of hours...

We don't get ALOT of snow here in VA, so I never spend money on snow gear or boots and now, my kids are running around in 10 layers!!:-5

Oh, we only have a window at the end of the hallway. he kids know I am a sucker for snow, and will take me by the hand and we'll run to the end of the hallway and look outside. Oh boy!

How bad do i feel, Sam was off school sick today and he was driving me mad by 10am, Jim's just got back from taking him to the Dr's and he's got flu and his asthma is bad

Sorry to hear about the boy, Suzy, don't beat yourself up bout it. My sis used to have bad asmtha, but its eased off in her later years.

I used one of the new African hedgehogs in a show at the zoo today. My error was in NOT allowing it some "private time" after I woke it and before I started the show.

Do you have any idea how much those critters can POOP?

The patrons, of course, were delighted! :rolleyes:
