Hey there you guys. I just braved the sleet and snow to go take daughter to get ciggys. We did get milk bread and eggs while we were out. Very cold and slippery. I saw the snowplow/sand truck but he was only sanding. His plow was high in the air.

Uncle Kram;516752 wrote: A woman and a baby were in the doctor's examining room, waiting for the doctor to come in for the baby's first exam.

The doctor arrived, and examined the baby, checked his weight, and being a little concerned, asked if the baby was breast-fed or bottle-fed?

"Breast-fed,"she replied.

"Well, strip down to your waist," the doctor ordered.

She did. He pinched her nipples, pressed, kneaded, and rubbed both breasts for a while in a very professional and detailed examination.

Motioning to her to get dressed The doctor said, "No wonder this baby is underweight. You don't have any milk."

"I know," she said, "I'm his Grandma, but I'm glad I came."

I got a really cool glowing globe over the weekend from a friend, I am looking at it now, jaysus africa is a big place isn't really?, and that Australia place, you'd be walking round there the rest of your life! Also what becomes apparent when you look at the globe is that New Zealand is quite a long way from Aus, that Europe and North America are really way up north, and that them oceans are flippin big!

Take note, my wandering husband arrived home about 5 minutes after I posted this. He was with a couple of friends he had n ot seen in a while, and lost track of time...expecially after he ran into a friend he had not seen in even longer. It was a bit of a reunion of sorts.

I haven't smoked a cigarette for 3 days. :-6

I feel better

The 'orrible smell is leaving the car etc

I'm £15 better off

My jaw is getting 'mega' excercise from chewing gum :D

The coffee companies are benifitting from the extra revenue from me drinking gallons more of the stuff : note to self....drink Green Tea.

Now this is a funny fact.....when I was signing up for my private pension, because I was a smoker....I got enhanced rates because they don't expect me to live so long as a non-smoker.....

How's everyone else doing that is giving up the 'weed' ???

Are you using patches or going cold turkey?

Started 'cold turkey' 2 weeks ago but kept having the odd one or two.....found some low strength patches from when I gave up 2 years ago (for 5 months) and bought some nicotine chewing gum.....I really MUST do this for 4 reasons.....HEALTH.....COST.....TO SMELL NICE :) .....NOT TO BE DEPENDANT ON THIS DRUG NICOTINE !

Way to go BEZ, I'm on week 2....surprising myself, smoked for 6 years....had quit for 13 prior to that...anyway...I laughed about the coffee companies benefiting...My son is so excited that I'm drinking coffee...I rarely drink it, but now my new "vice" instead of cigarettes, but only 1 cup in the morning and probably only during winter.

I've been eating like crazy...so next gripe will be "I need to lose weight"...always something...

Didn't mean to make this "all about me"....I'm happy for you, I know how hard it is, took me about 6-8 months to finally stop!

So this is to YOU!!:yh_dance

You already smell nice, Bez. To think you're going to smell nicer.

Keep up the good work, Bez. You're an inspiration to smokers everywhere.:-6 :-4

Does wikipedia have a number of administrators that monitor the content submitted to it?

Just wondering because I edited Brian McBrides profile under wikipedia the other day and changed his goal count total to 7 from 6 two hours after he scored his 7th goal of the year and they changed it back to 6...

I thought Tennis fans were 'civilised' ...... before anyone pounces, I know these are just a handful of idiots....

That had nothing to do with tennis. I would imagine a real tennis brawl between true fans would be well-timed coughs just as the foe was serving. then escalating to refusing to applaud the game-point backhand. :D

Weren't they visiting from Croatia and Serbia though...I don't think the Australians had anything to do with it...

Unless of course you're speaking in regards to the lack of respect shown towards the country in general.

I tell ya, I witnessed a big bar room fight in Prague between a load of Bosnians and Serbians in 1995, holy crap that was a serious situation. The non-balkan people just stayed out of it, it was rough.

At the school, my son get's out of car, I tell him I love him, see him later, and he tells me I'm wierd. Yea this coming from the kid who goes around singing naked monkeys dance over and over. yea gonna have to stop him from watching Dr. Dolittle 2 now. :wah:
