Then as well, the Germans also have the Barbarossa myth, which has parralells with Irish, English, and Eastern European mythologies and folk tales, I suppose it reinforces the fact that European do share a much deeper common heritage than is often realized, and its a lot older than just Christianity.

I am off to bed, but it just struck me......

You know that saying, "Money doesn't grow on trees you know?", well apples and olives and oranges and other such things grow on trees, and there is great money in making cider and olive oil, so you know, money does actually grow on trees doesn't it?

Yeah, you and whose army eh?

Pacificism: have a go if you think you are hard enough.

Its interesting that of the powerful nations in the world, the most pacificist are Germany and Japan, hmmmnnnnn. Wonder why that is then?

I am getting a hair cut today, its all part of my media makeover that I have required since my run in with that Zambian insect adoption agency, (I didn't realize those locusts had parents, honest!). Anyways, so any suggestions? I was thinking I would go for that "McFly" look (its all about them) with the hair all going at right angles and held up with scaffolding, then I was thinking, nah, what about the Roman look brushed forward over the forehead, but, nah, maybe if I dyed it plumb it would be interesting? Then again, maybe I should just get a trim, I am 35 after all.

I couldn't be arsed to get a hair cut. If I made the effort, I'd expect them all to be cut

I was telling Pinky this story earlier but I thought I'd share it

My 52 year old mate who lives in Spain phoned me on Xmas Eve while I was driving so I pulled over. he told me he was seeing a 24 year old Russian girl. I said "Is her name Onya Bakyabich?" he laughed non-stop for the next 10 minutes so I couldn't stop laughing either. I must have looked a right idiot sitting in my car crying. That's not the record though. I once laughed non-stop for half an hour on the phone with my son and neither of us could say a word. Just laughed the whole time. Can't even remember what was so funny. We only stopped in the end because we both needed to get some headache tablets. Best laugh of my life.

She sat on the bridge in the moonlight

She tickled his face with her toes

For she was a lovely moquito

And the bridge was the bridge of his nose.

I was just thinking of you going outside for a ciggy. Or not?
