We staggered our start and finish hours at work and hired a nanny after the second was born. By the time they were all at school we shifted to four-day weeks at work and staggered the other three days. By that point we'd learned to drive and got a car so we could ferry the wretches between their innumerable after-school activities (they were close enough to walk to and from school but the evenings were packed). Why anyone in their right mind would encourage their offspring to get keen on gym, ballet or taking over the local scout troop I'm not sure but that's how it turned out.
Go on, tell us about yours, what they like doing, how they get on together. Mine have always been good friends, and four's a neat number because there's never two "in" with each other and one out in the cold, they can form shifting pairs whenever there's any friction.
