Senior zoomies?

Post by valerie »

This girl is the next oldest to my Tamsen at the website I go to.

Her mom is just enjoying

each day with her, she has had some problems including tumours,

but just look at her I love her! (Keep in mind, she is a raw fed lady and

has all four of her legs!)

She is beautiful!

My Chase had a rousing case of zoomies just two days before I lost her to osteosarcoma. I sure wish I had gotten it on video. You sure wouldn't have guessed that her front shoulder blade was completely calcified and collapsing in upon itself.

Man - I sure miss my girl. :-6

Val, I'm a believer in the BARF diet! I ''sit'' for two Giant Schnausers who are fed it, and aside from a tendency to FART PURPLE CLOUDS (!,) they're in wonderful condition.
My candle's burning at both ends, it will not last the night. But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends--It gives a lovely light!--Edna St. Vincent Millay

Tell their owner to add a bit of yogurt to the diet. It helps tons with those purple clouds. (I know - Chase could fart HERSELF out of a room!)

LOL--they DO get yogurt, LD! It's something to experience, I'll say that! I'd like to bottle it & drop it on Taliban headquarters!

The first time I heard the dogs munching on raw chicken bones gave me the creeps!

I've at times been quite interested in the barf diet, but I don't think

I could ever really make the commitment to it, it's a lot of work. And then

you have to weigh the back and forth of tooth wear, and all the bacteria,

etc. and it's a bit much.

Neke's mom I think has SEVEN dogs on it!

It's a HUGE amount of work and tooth wear is a factor. The breeder who supplied these dogs INSISTS on BARF...I'm told she sometimes makes unannounced "home visits" to check the dogs' diets! Can you spell ANAL?
