What a lowlife!

YORK, Pa. (AP) - A man who proposed to his girlfriend at a New Year's party allegedly knocked her out with a steering wheel lock just hours after she said yes, police said.

Stephen Mujerm, 40, of Lanham, Md., and new fiancee Victorine Taboh began arguing about 6 a.m. Monday as they drove home from the party in northern York County.

Taboh, of Laurel, Md., and another passenger were complaining that Mujerm was driving recklessly, police said. He then stopped the vehicle beside Interstate 83 in Springfield Township, where he and Taboh got out and began to argue.

As the confrontation escalated, Taboh began breaking the windows of Mujerm's car with a steering wheel lock, police said. Mujerm then punched Taboh and hit her in the head with the lock, knocking her unconscious, said police.

Emergency medical workers took Taboh to a hospital, where she was treated and released, police said. State police charged Mujerm with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangering and driving while under the influence of alcohol.

I wonder what the proposal was like?

So, they were both drunk and she wanted him to stop driving because he was driving recklessly.

So, when he pulled over - why didn't she walk away?

So, when she started to break the windows out of his car, how did she expect him to react? "Oh, gee, honey. You are right, I shouldn't be driving."?

I am not saying that the guy should have hit her over the head with the lock thingy but one has to wonder what SHE was thinking.

I am A little confused.He is HAS too listen too her nagging and take what ever physical abuse SHE lashes out and he is too keep his mouth shut.

Good thing he found out now what she was really like.

And Of course,every one assumes HE has the problem,equal rights people,equal rights.

You assume *I* assume, and I didn't. She was apparently hitting his

CAR, he hit HER. As far as the article goes, she wasn't arrested for

anything, that says something.

And what about the other passenger?

This article obviously doesn't go far enough, but he is a lowlife, I think.

Alcohol makes for lots of lowlifes.

There is a lot more too tis than just what we know.But because you are a woman you are always right.

Men have no rights and bear that crutch for life.

But i do hope while he sat in jail he sobered up and realized how much his life would improve IF he got drunk and married this nag hag.

Perhaps next year they can take HER car and he can smash her winders.

we used be able too be open too every ones thoughts and we all enjoyed every ones opinions on any subject matter.

I was speaking about the "because you are a woman you are always

right" which TO ME, came off as snarky. Your opinion about this story

is FINE, don't misunderstand me on that.

But, do you at all see the difference? Look at LD's post. A very good,

questioning one. Doesn't come down totally on the woman's side,

right? (Don't mean to put words in your mouth, LD!)

But how about I say I disagree with your presentation? "Men have no

Thank you Peg for having the patience and the understanding too think my post through,(Not that YOU did'nt VAL).

You are right,there is absolutely no excuse for hitting a woman unless it becomes a matter of life or death or serious bodily harm.

I was a Door man and a bouncer on and off for a good number of years and i could write a book.And yes i mean woman in general.

I have seen women manipulate the rules in so many many ways it ain't funny.

I have seen some work the bar like a hungry kitten going door too door for food scraps(drinks) and play one guy against another,some times leading too a fight or two over a girl they don't even know,but guess what? I get too toss both guys out on there butts and the girl stays and gets too play.

I have seen a man come in and sit and watch football quietly and his wife/girlfriend come storming in and wake him off his stool with a punch and when the cops get there,He goes too jail. and so on.

Now all I did here was play the devils advocate and go against the grain because I had the chance too prove too myself that FG has turned for the worse,more people are waiting too pounce than communicate with each other.Why? I don't know,But we never had too watch what we said before.Because we were all expected for who we where.Just because we did not like what a person said did not mean we did not respect them as a person with a different take on the subject.

All I meant here was that we did not know the history of this couple,Smashing windows is a little extreme,not worth a smack in the head,but add booze and there no telling where this will go.Perhaps he is lucky it was his windows and not his head.

I hope he thinks long and hard about marrying this petite little flower,or else he will spend the rest of his life sleeping with one eye open(JOKE,THAT WAS A JOKE!)

Any how,if this annoys anyone enough too want too ask me too leave,then get your club and start swinging.But in the mean time i would ask you too respect for the open and honest person that i am,I bend for no one,I enjoy the freedom too speak my mind,hero's are buried so that gave that right too me.

Stating some of your background and what you've seen was great.
