Is Love Really Blind?
The slogan "love is blind" is probably as old as civilization but the opposite seems to be the case in every day life. Love I believe depends on certain ingredients to flourish, as against the good old slogan. What is your opinion or experience regarding love being blind or otherwise? We want to know Please!

I was so caught up in us getting married and starting a family ( I was Pregnant) It never even crossed my mind. One of my best friends came up to me and told me that she had seen him with someone else at a bar.. ( it was supposed to be guys night out) We went there and I seen him kissing her...
From there i precided to kick his A**.. My friend told me to stop because I was pregnant so some guy I don't even know jumped in. He sent my Ex to the hospital.. :wah:
My brother-in-law and his wife were married 10 years and he found out last year that she was cheating on him for 4 years with someone she worked with when they first moved here. He also found out that she hated him, their children and the family.. She was with him because he bought her everything she could imagine.. Poor man he was so heart broken!
Quite pathetic, though in my opinion, a cheating friend or spouse does not represent a "love is blind" situation, unless the person being cheated is aware of it and still decides to stay. Rather, a "love is blind" situation is like accepting a person who you ordinarily shouldn't be dating, like somebody with bad character which you are aware of, but condone or an exceptionally beautiful girl going out with a really ugly chap or an educated girl with a good job dating an unemployed drunk who doesn't care about his future.

Love is blind because it is the people that it brings together into its bliss that could be tall and short, black and white, rich and poor, erudite and ignorant. Pick your choose or make up your own definition of who will come together. Love is blind. Thank God.

Romantic love is blind. So is lust. Real love is just that, real. It sees the good, the bad, and the ugly, and stays.
The secret, ofcourse, is that you have to also love yourself and, therefore, do not become a "martyr".
