Got a frantic call on my cell phone yesterday from my neighbor. She saw both our front doors wide open...and was absolutly certain someone had broken into our house. And oh by the way, she says, there is a black truck in your driveway.

The black truck is my husbands...and the burgler...my husband. He had come home from work early (his boss always sends them home early last day before a holiday) Apparently he really, errrr....had to go...so he basically ran it, and did not take time to close the doors behind him.

Once I assured my neighbor there was no need to call the police, she was fine.

Well, we do look out for each other here in this neighborhood.

Thats really a good thing. I have been burgled three times and no one noticed. My daughter inlaw also was burlgled and no one noticed. My ex got burgled and her neighbor did see the man do it and she just got in her car and left. Did not want to be involved.

I've just dropped a cup of coffee and then caught it without spilling a drop. Last time I moved that fast was in the early 70's. Bet I couldn't do it again though.

Yes..chick peas. My husband hates them...if we are at a restaurant, and there are any in his salad, I get them all.

Once we were at a wedding..as the salads were being delivered to the tables, I turned to talk to someone. I turned back to find a little pile of chick peas on the edge of my salad plate.
