One of the lads...good or bad?

The last time I hung out with the same bunch of people I got thinking about whether being considered one of the lads a good thing or a bad thing...it all stemmed from a comment over a joke. Kinda nice in a way, but it has had it's disadvantages over the years. Guys always go for your girly mates, only ask you over or call you because they want a laugh or some advice, and their girlfriends tend to hate you:rolleyes:

Just for the sake of research, I'm going to give being a bit more girly a go and see what happens...I'll probably give up after half an hour as everyone I'll think I've had a lobotomy or summat:wah:

Pinkster, you know the kinds of guys I hang out with, and they would love you! In fact, didn't you meet a few of them when you were here? Yeah, my group doesn't do well with girls hagning out, but these guys would find you a perfect fit! I've talked about you to my hubby and he keeps wanting to know when HE is going to get to meet you! You'll break an old bikers heart if you don't come to see him, you know that, right?!!

PINKY, I ALWAYS PREFER TO HANG WITH THE GUYS TOO. THEY HAVE MORE FUN....my two best friends are like me, tomboy, we want to do it all..........

Here in the north east men do all the work, all we have to do is show a slight interest then its up to them, if they dont follow up you noting interest in them its a pretty good sign of not worth your attention so you move on, if you dont your seen as a psycho or stalker or needy. We're a strange bunch up here
